This is a real GUEST house
Tim Kon 27/05/2017 22:17Due to a mixup on the train, my suitcase ended up in Berlin. After a gracious welcome Riccardo swung into action. He knew how to reach the railway baggage offices and, of course, with his bilingual abilities went where I couldn't go (with my American English). He also reached the person who had my suitcase and helped arrange its return. Miracle of miracles, I had my suitcase in hand the same night. Although I usually stay in hotels, I'm sure a hotel couldn't/wouldn't provide this quality of service.
My visit mirrors the reviews I read prior to booking my stay. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The small bathroom was squeaky clean. Lots of nice touches of home. Tons of channels on satellite TV, including several in English. The neighborhood feels safe and a variety of restaurants are around. Riccardo is very accommodating and helped us make the most of our brief stay (including tips on inexpensive options for tourists).
Why would I stay anywhere else in Venice?
A charming clean, easily accessible location away from the hustle and bustle.
Marilyn Son 25/05/2017 10:35The room was perfect for two people, with a lovely modern bathroom and breakfast included. Our host Ricardo was amazing, he set out breakfast for us each morning, even when we had to leave early for bus tours. He was also very accommodating for my gluten intolerance, by providing extra fruit, and even offering to find gluten free pastries for me, which I declined. He provided us with a map the first day, which gave us a lovely initiation into the city. He booked a tour of Cinque Terre for us, and even had a driver pick us up at the guesthouse. Ricardo really made the stay extra special.

Perfect stay in Florence

The whole experience was a perfect combination of right location, beautiful accommodation and facilities, very good cleaning standards and a fair price. But what added a plus to our stay was the wonderful assistance that the owner Riccardo was able to provide us.
Beside being an extremely friendly and welcoming person, Riccardo gave us the insight of a local providing us with many suggestions in terms of where and what to eat, what to see, what to explore. Highly recommended!
