Sometimes everything is right!!!
Donald Con 18/06/2017 09:07In my 73 years travelling world wide very occasionally do you find a residence that is nearly flawless. Guy and his team have created something very special and unique at La Maison d'Ulysse. If you're looking for a chic and lively hotel don't come here but if you're seeking a discreet, quiet and tastefully converted old French silk farm to chill out in and have a romantic break then this is the place. If your need is a haven of tranquility, a range of sensitively converted rooms, all with great attention to detail overlooking a stylish wall garden and a large heated pool then you've found the perfect place. Meals are served in the walled courtyard and Dinner has a small choice of dishes which necessitates exquisite fine cooking. We were not disappointed with the efforts of chefs. Excellent!! All in all a wonderful experience and well worth the 3 hour drive from our home in Collioure. Donald & Sarah
The highlight of our tour around Southern France
Rabstar32on 16/05/2017 15:13From the moment we arrived Gauthier and his team made us feel very welcome. We were the only people staying for our 2 nights so we were given an upgrade to the best room which was simply gorgeous with an amazing view out over the surrounding countryside. We used the chefs on 2 occasions - once for dinner and once for lunch and both were excellent with great service.
The pool is beautiful and genuinely heated so it was the only pool which was warm enough for us to swim in on our 2 week tour around Southern France which was a real treat for our last 2 days.
You are only 15 minutes drive from Uzes which is one of our favourite towns and has great bars and restaurants. It was the perfect end to our babymoon and we cannot wait to return in the future.

This is a premier boutique experience, we shall book again for next year soon.
The food is Michelin standard without the formal graces which can stifle a great evening. We ate in the candle lit courtyard under the stars.
The service and attention to detail is excellent and the two owners are wonderful, personally introducing themselves and pointing out the local attractions.
Gorgeous and fun
WhistlerManchesteron 21/11/2016 07:45Absolutely gorgeous. Great hosts, delicious food, beautiful room and a lovely area. We stayed 3 nights without our children. We biked and ran in the area around the hotel and made a day trip to the Market in Uzes. The hotel pool was so inviting we didn't even make it to the Pont du Gard.

Anna Ion 03/10/2016 22:04The staff at La Maison d'Ulysse were warm, welcoming, and so helpful during our stay recently. The breakfast was amazing, the room was exquisite, the whole hotel was simply superb! The outdoor heated pool was fantastic. It was close to several fantastic towns and villages as well as vineyards and caves to taste and purchase wine. We highly recommend staying here. We were so relaxed and left feeling so rejuvenated and grateful for the two nights we were able to stay! We can't say enough good things about it!
