Cloisters around a courtyard.
BerkshireLouloubelleon 22/09/2015 12:49Tricky to find - signs warning you are entering into a controlled car zone, along narrow and cobbled streets. We carefully drove right through a crowd spilling out from the Church following a wedding. The hotel is a converted monastery I believe. Whilst the rooms are basic, they are clean and the bar is in the cloisters. It is just round the corner from the hot springs that fountain into the town piazza. One of my three top favourites on a 20 day tour.

Diego Won 17/08/2015 11:45Fantastic building with some history built around a central courtyard. Excellent location within a few blocks of everything you might want to see. Excellent parking in the courtyard. Room (a triple) was clean and no frills though had wifi and a tv. No AC. Breakfast was fine.

MrGrumpyBuggeron 11/09/2014 08:18Bare walls, minimalist interior and a feeling of staying in a monastery... If your not put off by that, your on for a real treat. The Hotel could not better situated if it tried - So much in the heart of the old city that you must drive through the restricted pedestrian zone to get to it. Its ok to do this if you are driving there... but be warned, the entrance to get you into the hotel is narrow and may take a couple years off your life or a couple of thousand of the value of your car. The staff are lovely and couldn't do more. the facilities are few but a good bar with very generous measures will make up for much of may be lacking elsewhere.

Svein Gon 30/07/2014 16:59La Meridiana is hotel different from most other hotel I have visited. It is an old school for bishops and the building and surroundings are more like a monastry than a hotel. The hotel is located in a street with restricted access by car in the historical center of AcquiTerme, but we had free parking for our car in the court yard of the hotel.
A lot of students from Nigeria was hanging around in the area during evening and night. They was noisy and could be threaten occasionally.
We did also experience some trouble caused by the travel agency where we booked the hotel, but the staff did what was possible for them to make our stay as good as possible.
If you are looking for an unusual place for your stay in Acqui Terme, I can recommend this for you.
