Authentic French Village Experience
RichardandLaraineon 27/05/2017 11:27The young woman who runs this establishment has boundless energy and a lovely nature.
The rooms are above the bar/restaurant and are basic.
The food needs improvement. The clientele who come in for their morning coffee while we had our breakfast are wonderful.
Parking is on the Place out front and is free but do not turn up at lunchtime because you will not get a park.
7 nights at the Meteorite

No hot water for showers on three days.
Bare floor boards in bedroom small rug covering hole in floor boards.
Bathroom needs decorating with mold visible in tiling.
Breakfast adequate.
Basic but good vakue
Alan Son 19/03/2017 10:26Could be so much more but the rooms are basic and in need of upgrade. Everything was clean and working but - for example - most of the wonderful old oak floorboards needed refixing, there was even a hole, half the size of my foot near the bed and just covered with a rug!
Another 'frustration' is that you can't get access to the place before 6 o'clock - we did ring and request earlier entry but we're refused.
Didn't try the restaurant as only a very basic menu on offer. Breakfast was as expected - typically continental.
Overall, although somewhat disappointing, for the price we paid (€41 plus breakfasts at €7.50 ea) it was reasonable value for money.

Good for one night only if you're passing through and looking for somewhere to stay. Has some character and the bar is inviting. Room too expensive for what you get.

Garry Son 27/01/2017 16:32This hotel is quite literally magical. On arrival you will usually be met by Daniel, the hotelier.....maitre'd......barman.....chef and all round top bloke. Rooms are neatly decorated....comfortable and most welcoming. Friday nights are hosted with amazing entertainment.....music and singing.
If you happen to be visiting the Limousin try to pop in. 100% recommended.
