Extremely Unexceptiional
DogtheCriticon 13/06/2017 14:47I would not recommend this La Quinta because it needs lots of cleaning, maintenance and repairs. Signs of wear and tear abound not to mention the cigarette butts and trash around the premises and by the patio and pool The lobby and breakfast area are the only places that look fresh and clean. The staff was nice enough but definitely not memorable. For example they didn't ask if we needed a map or directions to anywhere or point out restaurants close by. The room felt dingy and the bathroom not that clean. During the 80's and 90's I traveled extensively for business and La Quinta was my hotel of choice. This hotel would be one of the worst I've stayed at. Not a good representation of the La Quinta brand.

88lennyton 22/05/2017 17:09Our time in this hotel was great, the guy in the front desk was amazing very polite and gentle. The only bad is not from the hotel was a lot of homeless people around, I didn't feel safe walking the dogs at night.

Josie Con 01/05/2017 15:48Nice, clean hotel. Great location, near airport! Convenience stores and restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Great area for a walk/jog in the evenings. Staff are very courteous. I had an early flight into Austin and they accommodated my early check-in at 10am! I stay here all the time when I'm in Austin because it's close to the airport and my meeting place.
Our suite was nasty!
valheinzon 21/04/2017 00:40Our suite looked like it had served several years as a party room. Very sparsely furnished, multiple stains on what furniture there was, lots of bare walls and hardly any decorations on them. Also had cracks in some walls and some stains on the ceiling. Will not stay here again!
Great place in a pinch
Rheadabovewateron 19/04/2017 21:10My outbound flight from SFO was cancelled, so I had to be re-routed to the Austin airport, which got me in to Austin-Bergstrom at 2 AM. Luckily the La Quinta at the airport had availability, and I took a taxi there when I arrived.
The hotel was clean, the employees were polite and efficient, and the room was great. Can't emphasize more how clean everything was. It was a welcome sight at 2:30 AM when I finally got to bed!
The next morning I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. They had waffles-to-order, cold cereal, muffins, yogurt, and other quick items. I had to get back to the airport to pick up a Hertz car, and the shuttle was ready and waiting at 8:30 (it departs every 30 minutes). The driver dropped me off at the most direct point to the car rental terminal, and he was very cheerful and pleasant.
I would gladly stay here again.
