This La Quinta is a nice place to stay in a city with very expensive hotels. All hotels charge more than they are worth in Chicago, but the La Qunita is always on the low end of the rates, so it is a better value than others. Always is clean, pleasant place to stay.

Very nice hotel and convenient to Union Station (we're Amtrak travelers). We were quoted a price we considered reasonable last summer but when we booked this fall the price had gone up dramatically. We would have tried to find different accommodations but were short of time.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that will be staying in Chicago. I definitely will stay here again. Great location downtown we were able to walk everywhere. I was really surprise on the quality of the complimentary breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while attending a conference. The front staff desk rocked it! They took the time to answer my questions and help me find taxis (even had to phone a request in one morning to get a taxi for me). My room was nicely appointed - loved the chair with the laptop stand. Everything was clean and in good shape. The breakfast was tasty and there were many options to choose from. The breakfast staff was also friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very convenient to my regional office, which is why I picked it. The room and bathroom were very clean and well taken care of. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi was fast and free. My only negative comment is the shower water was lukewarm/room temperature, never hot. When I travel for work and I'm away from my family I want to be able to take a shower with warm or hot water. I would definitely never stay here again for this reason. There are too many options in downtown Chicago to settle for a cold shower.
