jeremy von 13/07/2017 12:56Clean hotel. The breakfast sucks but most do shower get hot then cold then hot and cold the hole time in shower staff seem nice. Good for a knight or two but not for a week at a time would look for different one if you can spend more
Love Clovis accommodations
V9315LBritamon 06/07/2017 16:59the handicapped room was spacious and with 2 of us in wheelchairs and walker it was perfect. We were happy with the bathroom and the pool. Food was wonderful and kept hot. Lots of variety, from waffles to eggs to biscuits and gravy
Smoke Free but smoke filled rooms...
679paulettehon 16/06/2017 13:33It says smoke free but very smelly rooms. Make sure you bring fabreeze with you. The customer service agents are not the greatest but it is a small city so maybe not too much to choose from. Wish the prices were better because it is a perfect location to stop for our road trip.
Not a fun experience
Jd Won 10/06/2017 18:32The toilet quit working in the night and when reported to the desk clerk in the morning was told their maintenance person was shared with the Holiday Inn across the street, but only the manager would request him/her to come to the hotel, and the manager was not in yet. We had to use the public facilities in the lobby. This spoiled what would have been a nice experience. We have stayed there before and will stay there again.
Very outdated rooms - a 2 star hotel at best.
LCouslandon 02/06/2017 17:11The place looked like it hadn't been redecorated since the 90s. For some reason, the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom- why?; the room I stayed was huge and empty- it was just big for no apparent reason.
Note that the hotel is pet friendly: that means there's hair everywhere. I hadn't realized before booking, so I had to put up with it (there was also a lot of dust in the a/c , a literal ball of it came flying after I turned it on-site I'm allergic to dust, so that was fun. I had to sleep with the windows open, in a cold and rainy day).
Another thing that made my stay there hell: there was no wifi when I got there, and they didn't tell me until after I checked in - they even gave me a password!! I called to the reception and they were like: "oh, yes, the wifi got fried by lightning- they have to come from Georgia to fix it". I needed WiFi, as I was in town for business, and they should've told me the thing wasn't working ~before~ I checked in.
I could hear a guy snoring in the bedroom next to mine, and the occasional barking dog. The cleaning ladies kept mixing up shampoo and conditioner, they left me only conditioner in more than one occasion.
The 24/7 free coffee (both in the room and the reception), cookies, tea and chips with some sort of tomato sauce were great, though- a very nice touch. The only redeeming aspect of this hotel.
You may also want to rethink the use of foam plates for breakfast, what was that about?
Next time I have to go to Clovis, I hope I find a better place to stay.
