Nice stay under difficult circumstances
AnnaZ67on 25/06/2017 15:36The front desk staff was extremely helpful and understanding upon our arrival, giving us very nice accommodations. My daughter's home had been damaged by fire and we needed a place to put her and her family including her 2 dogs while we tried to salvage what we could. Being able to come back to a hotel that was warm and receptive was a pleasant end to very hard days.
I wouldn't even give it one star if possible.
pletienneon 17/06/2017 17:06Run the other way from this hotel. Old, dirty, noisy a/c units, dirty laundry area and worse are roaches!!! We got out of our week stay after one night and moved to the other La Quinta in Columbia. I was on hold for a very long time with Expedia to get a refund for my remainder of the stay as the management wants you to pay for the nasty conditions. I usually write honest reviews and have never had to write something about a disgusting hotel. This is my first totally negative hotel review.
The other La Quinta is beautiful, the room is lovely. They are doing some construction, but nothing that is bothersome. We always try to stay at LaQuinta as we have a small dog and there is no charge.
Extremely pleasant stay
hannamf2017on 15/06/2017 17:37My stay here at this location was very pleasant . located in a well location. Encountered a couple minor issues not big just the ac unit giving out enough air. But was immediately handled professionally. Staff was nice bubbly and the rooms were very clean. Will stay here more often great job guys
Roaches in my room
nicoledhickson 09/06/2017 23:05I saw to roaches in my room. One crawling on the wall and one crawling on the floor. Smh. My dog could've ate one. So disappointed. I would never stay here again. Did not refund me any money. Would not recommend.
Stay with pets
KayinKyon 08/06/2017 16:00We stay at this hotel two times a year as we are traveling to beach with our two dogs. It is not very attractive on the outside or location, both which they can't do anything about so hate to ding them on that. We did notice and appreciate there was a night security guard this last visit. The rooms typically are clean and comfortable, if dated. Bedding was updated on our recent stay. Always nice to have breakfast when traveling with four or five people. Typical breakfast, juices,coffee,cereal,waffle maker,muffins,fruit, hard-boiled eggs,yogurt. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. For the cost, it is a great value, and good stop over, especially if you are traveling with pets.
