Review of Helena MT La Quinta

Staff is always helpful and pleasant. I routinely stay here on legislative business as it has easy access to the capitol. Rooms are always clean and I always request the 3rd floor on the back side away from the highway.

The WORST experience of my life, coming from someone who has work in customer service at a hotel for several yrs! We paid $150 for a suite. When we checked in we went to the room, found cheerios and crumbs on the floor everywhere, crumbs on pullout couch, hair on toilet, pet hair all over bed spread & stains, finger prints on mirrors, dust all over the night stands (a thick layer). We went down to the front desk and asked them to clean the room again. The lady at the front desk was really nice and accommodating. She apologized and had the room cleaned again. We left while they cleaned it again and came back about an hour or two later. The bed spread still had pet hair all over it, there was still the layer of dust on the bed side tables and there was blood splattered on the wall by the bathroom entrance, the dividing door to the 2nd room and splattered on the window on the other side of the room. We went down to the front desk and told them that we didnt want to stay in a dirty room and asked for our money back because we had found a clean room at another hotel. The man at the front desk that was helping the nice young lady when we told them we wanted to leave was very confrontational and rude!!!! We did not get his name but was a larger man with a shaved head and was wearing some type of jersey and shorts. He told us that since it was after 6pm that we would be charged for the room anyways. I told him that was unacceptable to pay $150 for a dirty room since we gave them the chance to clean it. He told us that he doesn't believe us and that we were "just looking for thing to be wrong". He said that the best hotel housekeeping staff that they have went to the room and looked it over to make sure everything was perfect and that he believes the staff over us. (The paying customers that have pictures of the physical evidence) He refused to go to the the room so we could show him what we were talking about and refused to look at the pictures that I had taken. He told the front desk lady that she will refund our stay and that we can get the hell out of the hotel. I told him that there is physical evidence in the room that I can show him, he refused and was completely unprofessional! I am waiting for a call back from the manager and will call corporate if I do not hear back. I did not take pics before the first complaint, but did take pics after they supposedly clean the room.

Ok...

The staff was super friendly. The hotel was relatively clean. They had weird smelling air fresheners in the front entrance and downstairs bathroom that were very overpowering. Wasn't really worth the $130cd that I paid for it. Ok hotel to stay at if your just passing thru

Helena Montana LaQuinta Inn

I have stayed at many LaQuinta Inns both for personal and business related trips. This was not the nicest one I have stayed in. This is an older one and the rooms need some updating. Helena is a very beautiful little city in Montana surrounded by mountains and there was really not a good view of any of it. The breakfast area was very nice and the food was good.
