Smokey room!
marjoriep383on 27/06/2017 17:14I request well in advance 1st/2nd Fl room. Tried to give me a 6th floor room and I refused because I had booked in advance and was an Elite member. Finally, gave me a first floor room but the "non-smoking" room I was given smelled like an ash tray. Nothing they tried worked on the smell. It needs professional cleaning! Only gave me $35 off my three day stay since I could not sleep the first because of the smell! Should have been at least competed one days night.

Corleones0308on 26/06/2017 20:22Our room smelled strongly of smoke. Immediately upon check-in I told the front desk clerk. I was offered a can of air freshener (didn't help even given multiple sprays over two days) and a 15% discount. Floors and carpeting did not seem clean. Windows could be opened but there was no screen on the window. Hallways, doors, lobby etc all needed painting and updating. Allowing pets just screams of not making cleanliness a priority as odor in hallways is evident. One of the two washing machines was out of order. Fitness center under construction. TV went in and out when it rained. A tired, worn hotel.
Family visit
Marsha_IDon 23/06/2017 20:49Spent two nights here visiting my hometown. We picked hotel because of pet friendliness and proximity to family. Very noisy area. Older hotel beginning to show age. Wall outlets not convenient to charging electronics...no tables on one side of beds in two room queen room. Felt like room was almost too small for two beds. Bed was comfortable masstress and bathroom was clean. Breakfast area was clean with good selection. Swimming pool area was nice but still noisy due to traffic.

claudiarV1641VKon 20/06/2017 14:56La Quinta Hotel was very clean and located in a nice area. Staff was nice and helpful. Thank you to front desk gentleman named Carlos. He was very nice and kind to my family which it means a lot to me. La Quinta Inns & Suites overall it was a comfortable hotel.
Service great, stay disappointing
342kimmihon 18/06/2017 15:28This hotel has potential to be awesome but the biggest thing that disappointed me was that it was not made clear before booking that: 1. Fitness room was closed. 2. Construction/renovations were IN PROGRESS. My fridge didn't work, wi-fi was suuuuuper slow and I there were smokers in my hallway that they couldn't pin down - that's relatively small except I think they were next to my room and it stunk! So for someone who had chosen this NON-SMOKING hotel that looked great online, I was disappointed and inconvenienced. I hope LQ makes this right with me, I'm a Gold member because I normally have a great stay and always come back!
