First of all we checked in at 4:35 PM and rooms were not cleaned yet so check in was delayed. Never had this happen anywhere ever at 4:35 PM.
Reservation was prepaid but they wanted me to pay again, took 10 minutes then they found I was correct.
Breakfast ended at 10:00 AM on Sunday, we got to the lobby at 9:05. Both waffle irons were shot down with burnt waffles stuck to all surfaces and room smelled like smoke. Zero workers in breakfast area too help. With an hour left to eat...no fruit, coffee cups gone, no danish and little else to eat. They were not restocking anything. Juice and coffee spilled on floor, filthy dirty disgusting dining area. Not one worker to be found, worst ever hotel breakfast, did I mention ever?
People were truly angry and walking out mad.
Overall, not a good stay.

My hubby and I spent one night at this hotel on 10/28. Since we had stayed here before maybe two years ago, I was expecting a pleasant experience like last time. It is the worst ever!!! We're given a second floor room first. Initially the room looked fine until my husband checked one of the beds. The sheet was kind of stained and smelled like perfume. So we went downstairs and asked for an extra set of sheets or send someone to clean. Two people at the front desk apologized and said they could offer to move us to another room which was bigger. I was a title curious at that time as it's only 430 in the afternoon. You would think they should've some cleaning crew there. We moved to 309 instead. Oh my. This time is even worse. Lots of hair in the bathroom sink, dirty toilet, towels not replaced and I found a spray bottle of cleaner in the bathroom too. I took the bottle to the front desk and showed them. They gave us 311. Fortunately this room is OK. The sheet was still wrinkled like having been replaced but at least it smelled like bleach.
We paid special attention to the card they put on top of bed listing the cleaning crew. Apparently JAE was the one that cleaned all three rooms. Surprisingly next morning I saw one lady was holding that bottle of cleaner I returned and walking into the breakfast prep room. It looked like she was being trained to arrange breakfast area as she walked out of the prep room immediately with another guy. He showed her how to restock forks. I am not sure whether she washed hands but it's a good guess she didn't since she walked out of the prep room almost immediately without the bottle of cleaner. I am sure they've violated plenty of codes here so the lady didn't even seem to care. There could be a lot of cross contaminations here since the lady (might be JAE) handled both cleaning and breakfast.
They really needs some serious investigations into their employees. If they can't perform the job correctly or following the rule, maybe that person needs to go. It looks like some other reviewers had similar experience. Personally I will never stay at another La Quinta again. This is literally THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Left at 8:30, returned at 3:00, room still not cleaned, returned at 3:00, still not cleaned, nor at 9PM!! Went to breakfast at 9:30, poor selection, no juice glasses, had to ask for coffee and juice, little food available!! When checking out, never asked how the stay was, I was there for 3 nights

Clean, apportioned nicely and very pet friendly. Check in was simple and appreciate the military discount. Nice quiet area where the hotel is located with nice restaurants within a short drive. Great dog walk areas.

Room smelled like smoke ask to have it cleaned never was handled. Breakfast was very poor also. Asked to have the smoke smell taken care of twice never taken care of. Staff at front desk acted like they didn’t care. Orange juice was orange water.
