lampkinson 23/05/2017 15:28I am ok with it...wish I could have had a one-hour late checkout instead of saying no due to housekeeping and it was a Sunday. I believe that I could have been granted that much since I was a reward member considering most rewards members are at least given that as a benefit as long as there is not a request or high demand for the room.
Renovations
Sherri Lon 23/05/2017 01:51The new rooms are lovely. The king suite with wet bar was perfect. La Quinta allows dogs in every hotel. We had 2, and the room allowed for room for them to play. We will return for our next beach visit.
Interesting Tour of Myrtle Beach and Charleston
James Oon 17/05/2017 21:12Our room was fresh and neat and refreshing during our four day stay. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Beds were comfortable after a day of sightseeing and theater going and atmosphere was relaxing in a modern decor. Continental breakfast each morning was good and well supplied. Enjoyed our stay and would return if we were in the area.
Perfect balance
tzvib2017on 17/05/2017 14:23La Quinta is great for people like us who simply want a comfortable bed, pleasant room and a clean bathroom. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The price is right. We stayed at 48th and Oak, a walk of only a few minutes to the ocean.
UNDER RENOVATIONS
Jeanne Aon 15/05/2017 04:42We had never stayed with this chain before but since they are pet friendly decided to give it a try. We were given a handicapped room - great room with a few needed modifications - no hand rails, under mount sink had not been properly installed (actually fell while we were there) hand shower did not work. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, location great - if it weren't for the slack construction crew I would say everything was great - staff did say they had issues with the construction crew and were thankful we gave them the information about our room - even gave us a discount not asked for because of our issues
