wendycZ5955NLon 13/07/2017 12:59This is a great hotel, directly across from Broadway by the Beach. So much to do right there across the street. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms we big and comfortable. We liked having a refrigerator in the room. We had a awesome view from our room, over looking the pool area.
Good location and price
JR Con 26/06/2017 00:21We had to move hotels several times during our stay in Myrtle Beach. Originally we were given a room at Holiday Sands North on Ocean Blvd. (STAY AWAY from that dump!) It was disgusting and I immediately had to find somewhere safer and cleaner for our family, which took us to the Broadway at the Beach area and the Courtyard at Marriott. We liked it and spent 2 nights but then decided to try to find somewhere more affordable and voila, we stumbled upon La Quinta. I'd never stayed at one before, but didn't have a super high impression of them, however I'm very glad we gave this one a shot. It's updated, clean, safe, has a good location and is priced really well. The free breakfast isn't great, but atleast there is a free option. Wifi and parking are also free. The common areas are nice, clean and the pool is nice too. Would definitely recommend. We did have a loud group in the room next to ours the first night. I called the front desk and they said they'd talk to the occupants. I'm not sure if they did, the room continued to be pretty loud until at least 2am, but that party must have checked out the next day b/c we never heard them again. Also, our room was quite spacious and had a good layout, midsize fridge, microwave, coffee maker...but it did smell like smoke. :( Overall a good experience.
Shallow Toilet Bowls
T2000FBpaulkon 25/06/2017 19:50The bathroom toilet bowls are too shallow. When sitting down, ones posterier (and other extremities-if you are male), come in contact with very cold water. This is not only annoying but is unsanitary.

Birgitte Oon 24/06/2017 06:27This hotel has a good location across the street from Broadway at the Beach. And that's probably the best thing about it. When we arrived the hallway was smelly. We stayed for two days, and noticed our room not getting properly cleaned. Shampoo was not refilled even though it was empty. Works for a couple of nights, but for a longer stay I would rather spend the extra money for a better hotel.

lasvegas1219on 13/06/2017 14:43Great location, friendly staff. Bathroom tub needed work, very noticable crack in wall and tub dirty. Front desk went above to give advice for resturants and things to do. Pool area was nice, although the weather did not cooperate.
