I expected more after reading the reviews. I guess I got an "older" room. The bed was the WORST ever! Every time I moved, the springs popped & sounded like gunshots in the distance. Needless to say, I got very little sleep.
The hotel was pet friendly (good idea) but needed to be maintained better. The wood-look laminate floors were curled up from being wet (the tile was in great shape). There was a place in the bathroom where a dog had apparently eaten part of the wall & it was "fixed", but left with a large gap between the wall & baseboard & they had used 2 different colors of paint. The shelf under the bathroom sink was very scratched up. The toilet paper & tissues were the John Wayne style (rough, tough, & doesn't $#@& off anyone). I can kind of understand hotels skimping on those since a lot of people like to take them home.
On a positive note, the service was wonderful. Staff was very pleasant. The location was right off the interstate, yet quiet. There were a lot of restaurant/shopping options close by. The decor was nice & updated. Just the rest of the hotel wasn't updated to go with it.
Breakfast was the typical cold offerings, make-it-yourself waffles, oatmeal, plain eggs & sausage links. There were a few nice offerings, like jam/syrup for the waffles & extras for the oatmeal.
Overall, I expected better for the price. I really should have spent $5 more & stayed at the Hampton. They have consistently good hotels. La Quinta is a hit-or-miss apparently. :-(

My original room had an issue with the toilet running. I went down to the front desk, Brian who was working the front desk was able to get me another room. I was glad that it was still on the first floor. Overall it was a great stay.

The hotel is beautifully renovated, however RAC had a high pitch noise all night and the bed was the worst to sleep on ever! I tossed and turned all night, and finally just got up. The floor would have been better. Their pillows are nice though.

The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. The coffee could use some work, but the rest of breakfast was good. They were doing some remodeling and everything looked new. I enjoyed our short stay over all

Love this hotel, everything was brand new. Rooms clean and smelled good. Bathroom clean, bed made every day. Coffee maker, fridge, and wifi free in room. The free hot b-fast was very good. Hot b-fast tacos, buscuits and gravy, eggs, waffle maker, the small outdoor pool was nice, but in October the water was cold. Overall excellent stay.
