I had checked with another chain not long ago and they required a non-refundable payment for the dog. Thank you very much, La Quinta! Whenever I travel with my pet (or perhaps even not) I shall make sure to visit you again

Roger Pon 09/08/2017 10:29Been going to this location for 8-9 years now with over 30+ nights. Have never had a problem either with room or staff. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist should you need anything. Breakfast is supplied for those who wish to partake. Waffles, hardboiled eggs, cereals hot & cold, muffins, pastries, yogurt, fruit etc. plus various beverages. Getting refreshed in the pool after a long day or trip is always something to look forward to.
Good dog friendly hotel
Rob Ron 08/08/2017 04:05My wife and I needed a dog friendly hotel in Plattsburgh area as an overnight stopping point between Maine and Ontario at the end of July 2017. I had never stayed in a La Quinta Inn before so I was not sure what to expect. I travel a lot for business, almost always staying in Hampton Inns and similar within the Hilton family of properties but for the dates I needed, those hotels were too pricey. The La Quinta Inn in Plattsburgh, NY turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly and several of them took the time to give some attention to our two 5 month old golden retriever pups who were taking their first ever vacation. The room was clean, the free breakfast the following morning was more than adequate (as long as you're not on a low carb diet) the location was very convenient to the highway and to restaurants. It worked out so well that we booked a night for our return trip back through Plattsburgh the following week. I would definitely recommend it as a dog friendly hotel and the La Quinta chain will get more of my business in the future.

M2450OQstephenfon 07/08/2017 06:58Was surprised as to how clean and up to date the property is only complaint and it's not a complaint was the pool area the pool should be bigger not much to be able to swim laps that and there were no racks of towels for guests in the pool area

Nice flat screen tv..
Very basic toiletries ,so I recommend you bring your own..
Bed appeared lumpy upon entering,but was surprisingly comfortable..
Breakfast consisted of cereals, yogurts, toast and you make your own waffles...
There were hard boiled eggs as well.. and the usual coffee and donuts..Breakfast room was very clean as well and kept well stocked by the attendant
Can't comment on the pool since we didn't have time to try it out..
