The Minimal Possible
IowaMumon 16/08/2017 06:36We stayed here based on its proximity to the PDX airport. It was a “nothing special” hotel. We rented two rooms for the four of us and we needed sleep for an early start in the morning. Late at night we had a couple arguing outside our door. It seemed like a budget sort of place. The breakfast in the morning was the minimal possible, but it met our needs. I think I would seek out other places to stay next time.

Very poor, unreliable
681f2017on 15/08/2017 14:40Overall it meets La Quinta reputation, which in my mind bad. The breakfast quality was one of the worst I have seen. To top it off, we had a door lock issue that they could not resolve it for two hrs. We had to wait for two hrs before manager came into reprogram the lock and let us in with one key. It was an horrible experience - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There were three people whose doors were not working that I know on the same floor.

bdrothschildon 14/08/2017 23:16We stay at La Quinta Hotels quite regularly. It's our go-to chain. This one is pet friendly. Didn't detect the wet dog smell that we have at other La Quintas that were pet friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Typical of our experience. Staff were very helpful. The courtesy vehicle picked us up at the airport. If they are not busy they will take you to the mall or restaurants in the area and then you can call for a pickup to return to the hotel. Missed the usual potatoes at breakfast. Eggs kind of rubbery and bacon underdone. Lots of other options, however. Pool and Hot tub area was open but was going through some sort of renovation or repair.

punkie02on 12/08/2017 18:39Very helpful staff and very fine breakfast. Rooms in fine condition and clean. There is a local bus that for $1 or so will take you to Gresham where you can take the MAX light rail and go into Portland as well as many other areas around Portland.
