L8643XSchrisbon 21/06/2017 18:05Hotel was newer, clean, and great staff. Easy access from the turn pike/toll way. Quiet and safe environment. I would recommend this hotel as it is modern and a good location to the highway and the local airport in South bend.
Business Trip - Clean Property
TANDJOHIO2on 14/06/2017 03:37This is a good clean property. Stayed here for a week on business. Certain areas of the hotel are showing wear and need updating but overall okay. Housekeeping and desk staff were friendly. Convenient to airport but not to much else.
Not bad for a quick overnight
FitchburgWIFamilyon 06/06/2017 03:45Stayed here with my 86 year old mother who uses a walker for balance and has low vision. Reserved a two queen handicapped room for her and I to share, which was available and met our needs. (Other hotels only have king handicapped, so this is a big plus).
Room was clean, small fridge was cold. Cable TV didn't have a ton of channels, but did have HGTV and a number of news channels, so my mom was happy.
There is not a lot nearby for food that we saw, as a matter of fact, the hotel is very close to airport, but not close to much else.
Breakfast in the morning was cold cereals, yogurts, bagels/toast, and some cold egg things you could microwave. Coffee and juice were also available.
If I was going to complain about anything, it would be that the hotel might be a bit too pet friendly. Twice while we were eating breakfast, people brought their dogs into the food area: one dog just around the tables and the other one went right with its owner through the buffet line. I like dogs, I have a dog, but I choose to keep my dog out of my kitchen so I don't have as much risk of getting dog hair in my food. i certainly don't want someone else's dog's hair in my food, and I think that in as confined an area as a hotel breakfast eating area, it is not fair to bring a dog and assume no one is allergic and everyone wants to be that close to your dog. Hotel could maybe enforce a no pets in the dining/food area policy.
Staff was friendly, and the check in was lightning fast.
Over all, I would recommend if you need a quick place to stop for overnight.
Clean and Quiet!
E3on 24/05/2017 16:51This is an excellent LaQuinta - and we appreciate how well it is kept up. The breakfast was a little thin by today's standards - but if we have to chose between a "spread" and an immaculate room - we will take the latter.

Joyflnoiseon 15/05/2017 23:42We have stayed at this location several times over the years. We arrived and were greeted by a friendly desk clerk. She checked us in quickly. Our king executive room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It came with a sitting room that had a flatscreen tv, sleeper sofa, desk and chair. The room came with free wifi, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The bedroom had bedside lamps with outlets to plug your devices and a flatscreen tv. Towels were nice. The lobby offered 24/hour coffee. They have a free pet policy. Lots of grassy areas around the hotel to walk pets. There were no restaurants within walking distance. This location is right outside the entrance to the South Bend Airport. My only complaint is the breakfast is a bit disappointing. They offered make your own waffle, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice, bananas, apples, and a variety of carbs. Pretty boring fare! We opted to eat breakfast elsewhere. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will be back!
