Pet Friendly is a bonus
Shalley1on 25/06/2017 02:32I so much appreciate this being a pet friendly hotel. Currently there are no weight restrictions or extra fees for pets. Hotel is clean, maybe a very slight "doggy" smell in hallway, not in our room. There is a nice indoor pool and spa. Breakfast is included as mentioned in other posts. Staff is friendly. I believe most folks who travel with pets understand that their dog should be freshly bathed and well behaved or the pet friendly option will disappear. Rooms have fridge and microwave, TV has Showtime, location is just off Interstate 49. There are a number of fast food choices and casual restaurants in walking distance. We do everything from tent camping to Four Seasons and I feel this hotel is a good value for its price point.
Convenient location
Lisa Fon 21/06/2017 10:02Positive: Great location, mostly friendly staff Negative: As this is a pet friendly hotel, I was placed in a room across a little dog who barked literally all night long during my stay. It was disruptive to sleep. Breakfast items are limited. I did not realize "hot items" were not served. I assumed all La Quintas did.
Comfy and friendly
cruiserr2017on 18/06/2017 16:02The LaQunita in Springdale Arkansas was easily accessed from I49 with several restaurants in walking distance. The indoor pool was nice. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. As always, greatly appreciate the pet friendly policy with no-pet fee.
Drug bust
charleswJ6539FYon 18/06/2017 01:03We checked into the hotel and went to our room. We were soon greeted by the police department, swat team, and snipers. We were told we needed to leave our room and go to the lobby. Before we left the room, we heard police pounding on a door and screaming for the people inside not to flush the drugs. When it was over we were finally allowed to go back to our room but not before the manager told us it was all a misunderstanding. We didn't get back into our room until after 10:30 and we had to be somewhere at 7 the next morning. It made for a very short night. I asked for a different room but was told they didn't have any. I had two disabled children who were scared to stay in that room. When we were allowed to go back to our room, the emergency door key way laying in the hall for anyone to get. I picked it up and kept it all night. The room and halls smelled of smoke. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. THE POOL WAS GREEN. I have pictures. The breakfast was cold except for the warm milk.

johnoH2726SCon 15/06/2017 15:10Clean, professional staff. Comfortable and attractively decorated room. Good location for our purposes. This la Quinta was an excellent value and we would stay there again if in the area. Not much more can be expected from a convenient hotel like this one.
