Pet Friendly Hotels
Naomi Jon 12/07/2017 16:44I stay at La Quinta, Augusta, GA when I visit my son and his family. This particular hotel is older, but it is well maintained, clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I travel with my 2 dogs, and all La Quintas are very pet friendly with no restrictions as long as the pets are well behaved and quiet. I have stayed here at least 8 times and have been very pleased with the accommodations and service. The rates are also reasonable.
Great Vaule
822annetteton 11/07/2017 15:15I had read mixed reviews on this hotel, but I can tell you this, with tax and all I paid 68 bucks and it was well worth it. The room was clean, was it a huge grand suite, no, however it was clean the bed was comfortable and there was a place to shower and clean towels. The staff was nice and there was a small free breakfast. I had kids with us and I felt safe and plan to stay again as we are traveling for medical reasons. Oh and you can not forget there is a Starbucks, and a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot!!!
Another visit at an Average La Quinta
curtishardy09on 11/07/2017 05:08We stayed 3 nights this visit and a couple of nights a couple of months ago. This property is just okay. It is mostly clean, some rooms are better than others. The 3rd floor rooms are warmer this time of year and the A/C unit can't keep up. The showers are good. The front desk people are nice. It is an older, dated property. One room the bedding had some stains and burn holes in it. The others were okay. The area is safe and there is a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts next door. So you won't starve if you like donuts.
Room 229 Is Not Really Wheelchair Accessible
on 30/06/2017 00:01Stayed the on night on June 27, 2017. While they determined it was a wheelchair accessible room, it barely meets the definition. The space between the bed and the chest of drawers was just wide enough to accommodate my smaller manual chair. Certainly no power chair, scooter or otherwise will work. I cut my hand on a handle of the drawers as I pushed my chair through the space. Not a safe area.
The water from the shower/tub area leaked onto the wooden floor in the bathroom and it wasn't even a roll-in shower. There were many stains on the carpeting. The bathroom had a urine, musty, moldy smell, certainly not for someone who has allergies.
I question their cleanliness and won't be returning despite the fact they don't charge for pets. This room has not been recently renovated unlike some other reviews.

H4640RJdavidhon 27/06/2017 15:49The welcome at this hotel was great. The room was recently remodeled and was cleaned everyday. A great place to stay when in town. Location was close to all the shopping and eating business and close to freeway.
