298darreljon 26/06/2017 16:20La Quinta is always our 'hotel of choice' due to being extremely 'pet friendly' with no additional pet fees. When they advertise being 'pet friendly', they live up to their word. No extra charges for pets and plenty of rooms available to accommodate pets.

LA QUINTA DAVENPORT
tmyankee15on 17/06/2017 06:56The hotel is a little hard to get into with the side street to the hotel not marked as a La Qunita turn. The staff was fine check in went smoothly. The room was clean in need of some minor repairs. The grounds were a little more worn with some up keep needed. The breakfast was the basics plus waffle machines, eggs n biscuits n gravy. Overall a decent price that normally prices it self below almost all of the other hotels in the area. Its an decent value at a decent price.
Memorial Day weekend. Worst hotel stay we've ever had.
prodtwon 16/06/2017 20:09The one staff member working during check-in was overwhelmed, in part due to guests with problems. The condition of the hotel and rooms seemed OK. The maid walked in on me in the morning because the room still showed as vacant on the housekeeping report. I burnt my hand with coffee because there were no lids for cups. That afternoon I had to get the card keys redone because they locked us out at noon even though we were staying that night. The noise in the next room started after midnight. After speaking with her directly, I later called the front desk to complain. At 2:00am they turned on the TV and talked and disciplined their dog over that. Since I could clearly make out the conversation I called the desk to complain again. At 2:30 I dressed and walked to the desk to ask if he had done anything as the noise had not stopped. I encountered the woman from the room and she said the noise would stop as she was leaving for a few hours. As she left the man with her came out and left as well, leaving their dog shut in the bathroom to jump against the door and cry. I personally informed the front desk about the situation. At 3:00 I called to complain again about the dog. After 6:00 they returned and we could hear them shower and use the blow dryer and microwave while loudly talking the whole time. When we go to honor my father again on Memorial Day we will stay elsewhere. I have hotel experience, and by the time I got done with the front desk my 2 day stay was complimentary.
