Most of the hotels in Georgetown were fully booked on Friday Nov 3rd due to Southwestern University's Homecoming on Saturday Nov 4th; however, rooms were available at Days Inn. The room on the third floor that I stayed was mostly clean from the bed to the bathroom except for the carpet. The elevator is not very accessible, so if you have a few of pieces of luggage, you are on an intense exercise up and down the stairs.

We had an issue with the refrigerator/microwave. The units were replaced very quickly at a time when we were not in the room. Other supplies were not readily available--box of tissues; coffee, coffee cups and water cups were not replaced after the first night. It appeared that there were repairs/painting that needed to be done. The only ice machine which was working was on the third floor--even though there was an elevator it was very inconvenient. Felt there could have been more choices in relation to the breakfast.

Stayed two nights here while attending the Formula 1 Auto race in Austin. This place is a little older and worn around the edges. Out side entrances and 3 floors. We were on the top floor. The people in the office were friendly and helpful and took care of a small problem with our reservations quickly. There was a small breakfast in the lobby area in the morning. Room and bath were a bit dirty. But the bed was good and shower hot in the morning. Not the greatest place, but made for a nice stay. Location was good for us right near the interstate.

I stay in many hotels throughout the year. I'm not a fan of these older hotels with outside walkways.... you feel unsafe. The hotel is rundown and in need of a major facelift. The biggest issue is the paper thin ceilings and I heard the family (probably young kids) above me running all night back and forth until midnight. There was exposed wiring in the wall sockets in the bathroom with no covers. However, the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Not enough electrical outlets for electronics. I will not stay here again.

Ended up eating the cost of this one....checked in and then left. Found a cleaner place. Bathroom was disgusting...could have caught tetanus from the tub. Carpets looked like someone has urinated all over it. Smelled awful. The kids were scared to stay there because of how gross it was. Worst motel I've ever been to.
