Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this by far the worst and I’ve stayed in some flea pits in my time!
Ok, the positives.... it’s handy if you support Chelsea or are a visiting fan as the stadium is within spitting distance (sorry I’m an Everton fan). For London prices (total rip-off) its very cheap. The food was very good to a point. More on that later. Errrrm yeah that’s abouts it!
The negatives? Where do I start? £10 to park your car but you have to leave your key at reception so they can move it. Hmmmm.
The room, well mine was nothing like the webpage version. Mine was dark, dirty and from the 70’s. the sockets next to the bed where an inch thick in dust. Not good if you’re asthmatic. The bathroom was grubby and bob the builder had been let loose with the mastic gun as it was used to stick everything down. The shower head was crusty and potentially a public health issue (legionella). The bed was as hard as a park bench. Although it did my back the world of good!
Great entertainment at breakfast time as the waitress and chef fell out over something with him swearing at the top of his voice. Not good while you’re trying to munch on your over cooked leather and egg/beans.
Having read some of the other comments I totally agree that this place needs shutting down, revamping and a change of owner. They should be ashamed. Great staff who work hard but they can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

I would recommend this hotel for it's location, value for money and also very convenient parking. I have been using this hotel two or three times a year for at least the last 15 years, so I think that speaks for itself.

Terrible hotel . Paid £70 for room so I feared the worst as too cheap . Very outdated , bar rubbish. A cold shower topped it off . Don't go , should be shut down !! I only stayed as I was at a conference nearby . Wish I hadn't .

We booked this hotel through Trip Advisor for our recent stay in London and we wanted to be near Stamford Bridge. The hotel is outdated, dirty and in a terrible location. It is NOTHING like the pictures they have online. Our room was on the street side and with no A/C we had to keep the window open and it was incredibly noisy. Additionally, the fan they put in the room did not work. The refrigerator was disgusting and looked like it had never been cleaned. The first night I saw a bug on my bed and when I asked to be switched to another room they were unable to accomodate the change. We came home infested with bed bug bites. It was by far the WORST travel experience we have ever had. Trip Advisor should send one of their representatives to this hotel before they advertise it on their site.

My parents stayed at this hotel in one of the pricier rooms for a few nights. Front desk staff seemed annoyed to have to go turn the heat on in room, as well as go check plumbing. Plumbing was in desperate need of refurbishment, toilet did not flush and shower did not drain.
Appliances such as hair dryer and steam press are straight out of the 1960's! The room did appear clean.
Breakfast was well done with a great variety of choices for guests.
