Relocated in the backbone one day before arrival
1_thierry_0509on 02/06/2017 13:48Even if we had not the chance to discover this B&B, we want to share our thoughts about our booking.
It started badly by double debit on our crebit card of the reservation cost (abt. 2 x 1000€). It got even worse, when we were advised on Friday (we were supposed to arrive on Saturday) that we would be relocated in the backbone of Castello. (FYI worth looking at Palazzo Contarini Della Porta di Ferro, lovely, chique and helpful staff but not well located). No compensation and all communication with Giovanni stopped suddenly.
Misrepresented in booking.com
Asma2on 20/04/2017 22:00I was unfortunately rather disappointed to be ushered into a tiny room with a shower one could barely fit in, even though we are thin people. The pictures displayed in the booking.com portal are misleading and one should request the room that face the sea. Not sure about other interior based rooms, but we had one that was not as romantic as and spacious as shown in their pictures. Host was polite and nice.
Amazing views and friendly staff
ffh20134on 18/04/2017 15:20We stayed here for 3 days last week. It was amazing. We booked the suite with the Lagoon view. The place is about a 8 minute walk to St. Marc's but so nice to be away from the tourist crowds. Delicious cappuccino in the morning and friendly and helpful staff. We couldn't have been happier.

badrinaon 31/03/2017 08:13The rooms were beautifully decorated. You can feel that it was done with much love. You have this elegant decorated rooms with modern bathrooms. Really nice combination. Location of the place was good. It was within walking distance to the key places to visit while far enough from the crowd
Giovanni, the owner was very nice and helpful. Advised us on where to go and what to eat etc.
We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definately stay here again if we were to visit Venice.
Hidden Gem!!
fleurantoineon 30/03/2017 20:35What a lovely place... when we eventually found it!!! The entrance is through a non-descript wooden door that has the tiniest sign saying La Rosa de Venti. We walked up and down the waterfront many times and googled directions and eventually spotted it! We had been travelling for a week with no access to emails so I had not seen an email from the Management to say where we would find our keys... The building had no staff when we arrived so it was lucky that other guests let us in and explained where our keys were! It would have been helpful to have received that email when we had booked the room...
The room and bathroom were so luxurious and opulent with absolutely stunning views.
Breakfast was a nice continental spread.
When staff were present (at breakfast time) they were really helpful and pleasant.
