Great place, host and location
Arti Pon 07/08/2016 20:42We stayed for 4 nights. Mario is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely with a shared balcony and had toiletries provided. Great location with the old town a short walk away. Breakfast was tasty with toast, yogurts, fruit, tea/coffee and juice. Mario can collect you from the airport sometimes for a small fee and a taxi is 25 euros but we did the ARST bus to the b&b. Look for ALFA written on the front of the bus which leaves on the hour. You catch it about 50 metres on the right when you exit the airport, cost's a euro each, get off at the last stop (approx a 30 min journey) and it's a 5 min walk to the b&b. There are 4 flights of stairs up to the b&b but this was not a problem for us. Would def stay at this b&b again if in Sardinia. We loved our stay.
Great hospitality
Hooliethetravelleron 10/11/2015 07:51Stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for the sole purpose of having our own terrace. From the start to the finish of our trip 'Mario', whom owns and runs the guest house. Was extremely hospitable, friendly, helpful and real gentleman. He gave us our own maps, every morning helped instruct us how to get to certain places, looked up bus times for us, the list is endless. The location was great, in the heart of Alghero. The hotel was very clean. The only downside is the closest beach to the hotel is the worst beach I've ever been too. As it's more or less on the port, it constantly smells like raw eggs. We couldn't even bring ourselves to actually sit down. I would highly recommend getting the bus to the more famous La Pelosa beach. Overall, hotel is a great stay for couples. We loved it!! P.s: to get to the terrace sometimes feels like your trekking the Great Wall of China. Especially after along day at the beach. Enjoy!
Fantastic stay, excellent value, great location
Caroline Lon 02/11/2014 20:575 min walk from the Old Town and beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner, Mario, takes time to tell you all the best places to go and give any advice he can. The only thing people need to be prepared for is you will need to walk up 4 flights of stairs - Mario will help you with your bags. After spending 2 weeks travelling around Sardinia I can say that no other B&B matched up to this one.
Excellent Value, Excellent Service!
BobbyOsteopathon 21/05/2014 12:34Me and my girlfriend have just returned from a weekend at the B&B. Our stay was perfect. The B&B is 5 mins walk from the old town and beach. As people have pointed out, yes it us on re too floor of a building but it's not that bad.
The host of the B&B is so helpful and willing to offer advice and help. We felt really relaxed in the place.
The breakfast was toast, jams, fruit and ham/salami with orange juice/coffee. This was all lovely too.
I think the B&B was amazing value for money and I will most certainly be returning! Highly recommended :)

Marseliinaon 08/08/2013 20:37Perfect place where to stay! Very helpful, not only with accomodation but as well as with reccomendations where to go. Helped us with beach towels and umbrella that we didnt have ;)) location is very close to center and grocery store, free parking on the street.
