A great choice in Tuscany
john_milne11on 12/10/2016 18:03We booked an apartment here for a 2 week holiday stay. The apartments are intended for self catering but we never intended to cook during our stay. We got a lovely warm welcome from Chiara and her colleague, Rosa on our arrival and they were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The apartments are obviously quite new and very well finished. Kitchen had a new cooker, fridge, washing machine and all the dishes, cutlery etc that would be needed by a family of 4. We had 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each with a shower. The 2nd bedroom and bathroom were accessed by a spiral staircase.
The apartments were above a supermarket with a car park under the supermarket. Each apartment had an allocated garage in the car park with an electronically activated door. On the terraces around the apartments were large plant trays planted with a variety of herbs which could be used by families who did cook in their apartment. Each Tuesday evening Chiara and Rosa hosted a welcome drink with an amazing selection of food with sandwiches, pizza slices, sea food selection, crisps and olives etc as well as red and white wine, Prosecco, soft drinks. We really enjoyed these evenings and had the chance to meet and exchange ideas for day trips with some of the other guests.
The apartments are situated a short walk from the centre of the town which had a rich selection of restaurants, pizzerias, bars and shops.
Excellent Facilities
RMcI1999on 03/10/2016 21:24We stayed for a couple of nights in late September. Very warm welcome, clean tidy and well appointed new accommodation. ( 4 years old ). Close to the towns centre and we used the bikes supplied all the time. Did not move the car after arrival. Well worth staying.

RJMSUKon 10/08/2016 00:29Well what can I say we were welcomed with a smile, and shown to our amazing modern 3 bedroom apartment . Just 15 min walk to town and all you need to have a great holiday. The managers make this place, with fresh warm cornetti and rolls .
Beautiful pine forests that lead to clean blue flag beaches or Traditional sun bed and umbrella beaches .

A very smart choice in Tuscany

The mezzazine appartment offers a kitchen with a table and 4 chairs, a spacious bathroom, a bedroom and upstairs a bed and a separate bathroom/toilet. There is also a nice terrace. Chiara is a fantastic host helping and advising you with everything.The location is a 15 minutes walk to the center of beautiful Castiglione with shops and restaurants. The beaches over the bridge (not a long walk) are pretty. Bagno Bruno is our favourite. The attractive thing about Castiliogne is that you have it all. Historic town at the sea and by car 90 minutes to Sienna and Volterra. Porto Ercolo and San Stefano to the south only 60 minues (don't forget to stop in Talamone but please don't tell everybody!). Rome is 180 km from Castiglione. So, we had a top week here. Supermarket is in the complex. Very convenient. A nice relax chair in the appartment would be a nice extra but on the other hand, you can sit on the terrace. Thank you Chiara. We will definetely come back. (street market on Saturdays)
