We stayed at Lagedo Sol and had an excellent time. Salvatore on reception was most helpful. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The location was quiet but near to amenities including a supermarket and Albufeira town. There was no disturbance at night from the local area so we slept well. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great Budget Hotel

Just returned from a two week stay at the Lagaedo Sol in Albufeira. The Hotel was very well kept and the pool and bar areas were immaculate. The rooms were slightly dated but perfectly fine for our stay. The Hotel is situated on a quiet street so there's very little noise at night. It is situated just behind a large supermarket so popping out for essentials is no more than a five minute trip. It is situated about five minutes walk from the strip, and about 15 minutes walk from the old town. Salvatore on reception was amazing. His local knowledge and customer service were exceptional.

Great complex, compact & quiet. We had a refurbished one bed apartment on bottom floor. Very clean & great kitchen area for cooking. Terrace didn't get sun at any time so apartment was cool & we didn't have to buy aircon.Beds comfy, limited storage in bedroom. Pool area was empty so we were able to use the sun loungers in lovely surroundings, we never used the pool bar.free fast wifi. We didn't arrive till after 10pm and reception locked, but after a phonecall ( number on door to ring ) we were met very quickly & shown our apartment. Nobody on reception after 6pm. Supermarket located 2 minutes walk away. Friendly staff, we will be back

Good Value for money

Clean and friendly. As before a bit basic but we wanted for nothing. Special mention for staff and pool bar/ cafe. Ideal situation for strip and old town ( 5 min to strip and 15/20 min to old town ) . No problems sleeping really relaxing break. Beware new building going up nearby but not to mutch noise. Will book again

Bad hotel run by miserable manager/owner

From the moment we arrived we were treated as children not adults in our 40's plus. The hotel itself is fine for a cheap place to stay if the manager would retire or learn that people go on holiday to enjoy themselves. I would not recommend this hotel and advise others there are far more better places to stay than this one.
