20 Min to Disney World
PermanentWkndon 12/06/2017 02:42We liked that the townhouse and pool were clean, the property was well maintained and complimentary coffee sachets and dishwasher pucks were available in the nearby office. The location was a few blocks from the Medieval Castle and made for easy access to Hwy 192 leading to Disney World (20 min away) and Orlando.
Disappointments: A couple of the master bedroom drawers were broken enough to discourage their use. The bathtub did not drain very well (took up to 1hr after a shower), but to be absolutely fair we didn't report this to the office. We wished there were recycling containers on the property, but that isn't up to to the individual owners. If we returned to Kissimmee we'd probably try to find a different place.
Checkin note: get in touch with the contact number noted in your Booking.com confirmation to arrange for key pick up arrangements. We didn't notice the instructions, but found an envelope outside the office with notes for getting our keys from the lockbox in the same area.
Home from Home
Ruth Bon 09/06/2017 19:12We are Hapimag share holders and return here every year, the staff are wonderful and treat us as family. It is a fabulous place to stay and chill out if you want and it is close enough to all the theme parks.
Feeling of seclusion but near everything!
mkomomuaon 17/05/2017 16:26This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting all the fun things to do in and around Orlando. This is a gated property, with two beautiful pools to lounge at for sun and water. Our unit was a one bedroom, ground floor, condo. It had a full kitchen, king size bed, and a wonderful screened in porch that was quite and private.
Less than five minutes away, was great grocery shopping, eating establishments, and just about every other thing you'd want. My wife is a huge Steinmart shopper, so we went there a couple of times. Also spent the day at Disney World...prepare for sticker shock, but fun none the less.
If you are going to Orlando, and want to be away from the crowd, I highly recommend the Hapimag Resort in Orlando. You still have access to the fun stuff, but you get to unwind and relax after a "hard" day.
Overall good stay
chicafrommnon 27/04/2017 06:33Hapimag is a nice, quiet place to stay. It's a smaller resort, dated and could use some remodeling, but for the price it was good. The kitchen and laundry room in the house were a plus. The front desk staff were exceptional with everything. Overall if in the area I'd probably stay here again.
Quiet temporary home away from it all
simburkon 27/04/2017 03:43We are regulars with Hapimag but first time visitors to this resort here. We enjoyed it truly - it is quiet though very close to lots of shopping and adventure parks etc. but far enough away to relax from busy days out there. We enjoyed hours at the pool and running around Lake Berkley.
The house was super equipped and we had everything we needed, incl wash maschine and drier!
Staff is friendly and fothcoming and computers with printers to use freely came handy.
