One of the best B&B we have ever stayed in

When we travel we stay at a lot of bed & breakfasts and/or boutique hotels. Many are very nice, comfortable and offer plenty of amenities but very few compare with The Lake House at Ferry Point. Aside from the spectacular location right at lake's edge the hospitality provided by Rebecca, Jeanette and Monty was top notch. We were fortunate enough to been able to reserve the Lake Solitude suite which was a very large upstairs/downstairs suite with a small kitchen - it was like having an apartment all on our own! Though the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed it was the appeal of the relaxing atmosphere of the front porch and lakeside gazebo that helped make this inn special. My early morning swims from the small, sandy beach in the refreshing waters of Lake Winnisquam were greatly appreciated. There were a variety of boats to use on the calm waters. Your day starts out with amazing breakfasts and very cheerful greetings from your hosts. It was also special to talk with the other guests who all seemed to be relaxed and happy because of the setting of the inn and the attention they were receiving. I cannot say enough about The Lake House at Ferry Point except that if you are considering it for a stay don't delay - make your reservation - you won't be disappointed.

Why would you stay any place else?

We spent 6 wonderful days at the inn and were sad to leave. From the minute we arrived, greeted by the owners, Jeanette, Rebecca and Monty, we felt at home. All our needs were more than meet. Breakfast was different each morning, with a variety of fruit cups, juice, and a main dish, fresh and delicious. The bed and bedding was so comfy that we slept well. The house has a huge front porch with plenty of comfortable chairs, perfect for relaxing and chatting with other guests. on the edge of the lake is a gazebo, where we sat and watched the ducks swim by. We highly recommend the Lake House at Ferry Point and look forward to returning soon.

We decided to stay here for Brew with a View weekend after reading trip advisor reviews. What a good choice. Pretty inn with great Lake view (we were in room 2) . Also, big bathroom and heavenly bed. Recommended!

Delightful Stay

My parents and I heard of this delightful B&B from a close relative and opted to visit ourselves over the 4th of July. What a lovely Inn Reba, Monty and Jeanette are running! The Inn is in the southern lakes region of NH which makes it accessible from all directions. It's about an hour to Flume Gorge and other major White Mountain attractions. The Inn is directly across from Lake Winnisquam and has a lovely little beach. The bedrooms were gorgeous (and comfortable), the breakfast superb and the hosts helpful and kind. I can't wait to return!

Wonderful place to Relax and Enjoy

The Lake House at Ferry Point was just what we needed. The house is beautiful old gem right on the Lake with a gazebo, a small lawn and dock right across the street to enjoy. There’s some sand for easy entry into the Lake for a swim. Breakfast was excellent every day—I loved everything that was served! We took the (complimentary) kayak out on the lake at 0530 one morning and then came back for a gourmet breakfast. Great way to start the day on the Lake. The House is very clean and tidy with books/games to read/play in the Great Room. The proprietors are very friendly and are knowledgeable of the area. We watched the fireworks from the dock and Monty went above and beyond when he was kind enough to bring a couple of chairs to the dock for us to sit on during the ‘show’. There were 9 (my husband’s count) to 11 (my count) firework displays going on around the Lake we could watch—unbelievable! We also saw waterfowl swim right in front of us and were fortunate to hear the Loons on the Lake. Thinking about the next trip back already!
