Just OK
traumaruson 14/07/2017 16:52We stayed four nights. Breakfast buffet is nothing but carbs. Very little fruit available. Few healthy diet choices. Omelette were $5. Room clean and adequate. Very centrally located. Ok as to price as you have to realize you are going to be spending >$200 per night for a mediocre hotel.
Best Hotel on the Island
doug_drake117on 14/07/2017 12:13We have vacationed on Mackinac Island for the past 20 years. Our honeymoon was celebrated at Lake View. Over the years we have stayed at other hotels just to compare and Lake View is the best in our opinion. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, customer service is superior. We highly recommend Lake View.

Charles Bon 12/07/2017 22:49The hotel location was fantastic. The breakfast was very poor and the staff did not keep the buffet cleaned up. There was an $5 charge for omelettes and they were small. Lunch and dinner at the Goodfellows Italian Chop House was delicious. The staff was very friendly at all times. More cushions are needed for the rocking chairs on the porch.

bcrim3on 10/07/2017 22:23Our stay at the Lake View was excellent. We needed some special accommodations and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They were extremely nice and friendly. Our rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel was close enough to everything in town to make walking convenient.
A visit to Mackinac Island
Caroline186298on 10/07/2017 21:20We visited the Island form the UK, the hotel was lovely, we had a suite, such a lovely room. So much space, with a view of the lake. Conveniently situated at the end of the main street, with a lovely porch and rocking chairs! Very quaint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely and the hot tub great after the 8 mile Island walk! Breakfast is not brilliant, pretty basic, but this was the only hotel during our 13 night stay in the States that offered a breakfast.
