Lovely hideaway
Charles Con 08/06/2013 13:39Beautiful, serene and quiet hideaway for a few days. Not far from Bamberg only 15 km. Thye brew their own beer and serve the best Schweinhaxe. May not be in the menu, but if you ask nicely, they may do it, provided you give advance notice. We had one of the best spargel (white asparagus) when in season in Germany.
No stars, avoid booking at all

On arrival at the hotel we found it closed. On the door was a notice listing 3 telephone numbers to call. I called each of them and each call went unanswered. So we went off to find another hotel.
Not only that but the hotel then charged my Mastercard with that night's charge. So I had to take the trouble to write to Mastercard to obtain a credit. Avoid totally. This place is a fraud.
Lovely Location
dasreiseteamon 30/07/2011 21:23This place is away from the world in a quiet and beautiful landscape. On the other hand it takes only 20 minutes to drive into the historic town of Bamberg. The room was average and the bathroom is very small. From the balcony we had a lovely view over the lake.
