Pleasant Room and Incredible Food

Our stay in October 2016 was our second experience of Landhaus Feckl hospitality and amazing food. The staff was friendly and gracious.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasant. The food in the dining room was really spectacular and the serving staff was exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was well prepared and varied.

Frau Feckl is an experienced manager of the hotel and dining room. Her husband, Herr Feckl is the Chef responsible for the amazing food. If you are not staying at the hotel be sure to have dinner or lunch in the dining room. We love this place!

Four stars for lodging and five stars for food!

Very comfortable, friendly hotel

Hotel is decorated in a cute country inn style. Room was nice size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch as was dinner. Staff friendly. I was there on a business trip- I don't think the area is interesting from a sightseeing perspective.

Great value....no air conditioning in summer

This was my first stay at Landaus Feckl hotel (they have a second property as well about a mile away, but I stayed at the main hotel). It is a very good value hotel. Americans visiting during summer month please note that there is no air-conditioning, at night, it can get humid, and I was sweating and gasping for air. Staff speaks English, and are very friendly. I needed an iron one day and the lady at the front desk arranged for it. Room was a bit small, but was clean, housekeeping did a great job at cleaning every day. Bathroom was very good as well. I have written a separate review for the Restaurant (gave it 5 stars) ate dinner and breakfast there and it was fantastic. Breakfast is not included in the hotel price, so you will need to make separate reservations for that. If you miss a breakfast reservation (as it happened to me) they would charge you for the full price of breakfast. So please be mindful, if you make a breakfast reservation, and for some reason your plan changed, and you forgot to let the hotel know about it....they will add it to your bill at check out. They also have a courtesy shuttle, and the very friendly drivers will whisk you away at the train station, or close by destinations. All in all small issues, but a great value. I will not hesitate booking again for fall/winter months. Summer months, maybe not.

Great quality and sweet price

For 105€ a night in a single (but large and confortable) room, this is a great value. All the 4 star business hotel amenties you need, but in a way more frendly ambiance. Wonderfull breakfast buffet with a lot of fresh products. Ideal if your are on business in the Stuttgart area, or for a stop over when crossing Germany.

Still good, but if it's really hot at night, as it was when we stayed, you will struggle without air conditioning

We first stayed at Landhaus Feckl two years ago and had a very good experience, so were happy to book it again: this time for 4 nights. We didn't use the restaurant, though it comes highly recommended. The staff are still as friendly and as efficient as ever. Comfortable room, but with the challenge (if this causes you problems ...) of very soft, square, feather pillows that give no support. If you're British (i.e. can't survive without an early morning cuppa!) take a travel kettle as there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms. Finally, the days we stayed the daytime temperature was around 33-37 degrees C (91-99 F) during the day, and mid 20s C (mid 70s F) at night. Even with windows open (and the balcony door 'tipped') it was ferociously hot every night. Not the hotel's fault, of course, but a point to be taken into consideration. I believe that Feckl Apart (just down the road) does have air con and tea and coffee facilities.
