Good hotel for on the road
Arthur Ron 18/05/2017 13:10I travel a lot through Germany on my travels, and like to stay somewhere just off the Autobahn and in a typically German village. This is an excellent place to stay. Also I believe for looking around in the area.
The room was good and the bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good together with an excellent breakfast. All for a very good price - value for money.
Comfortable Stay, Super Spaetzle!
KatsMom60on 16/04/2017 21:05Check in was easy and friendly. We had a nice double room with shower. There was a convenient tea/coffee kettle . The breakfast was good, fresh and varied. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was really good as was the beer.
Very nice hotel
Ebazinamon 20/03/2017 21:45This is a nice little gem of a hotel. The staff of the hotel is very nice and very hard working. The rooms are quaint and nicely equipped. This hotel is very nice for couples. The location is very nice and well placed in a quiet village near Parsberg and about 15 minutes away from Hohenfels. Wi Fi is free and functional; albeit, it is prone to disconnects. My room had a kitchenette with dishes.
Nice hotel
Gla_Esseon 26/11/2016 21:57Check in quick and easy. German restaurant with various dishes in the standard. Room with large clean bathroom. Breakfast good and plentiful. Stayed for business, I could not check other. Fair prices for the type of hotel.
A near miss
ilangeloon 06/08/2016 22:27Probably the best thing about this place was the dinner, but that doesn't include the wine, that tasted and looked like it had been watered down - despite the fact that there was a more than 400% mark-up. The Hungarian waitress spoke little English and some German and wound up leaving items off our order. The room was okay but not well-cleaned (although the bed linens were fresh; the pillow smelled like it hadn't been washed in ages), and it's advisable to bring earplugs since the church bells across the street ring four times an hour 24 hours a day. The price was certainly low, but the things that would keep me from giving this hotel a good or even very good rating don't really cost money: cleanliness, friendliness, efficiency. Good luck to them; we won't be going back.
