jmoelingon 16/11/2016 23:04I was happy to not find bed bugs but to find kind hosts and a clean cabin. It was not a 5 star hotel at all. I found it to be pleasant roomy and a great deal for the price. It was a touch cold I think this property is geared more toward summer visitors. The heat came from the heater by the door. Would have been nice if the TV was a little bigger.
Relaxing place
kknoll7863on 31/10/2016 14:01Our room was clean, bed comfy and we love these little cabins. We were there in October and the leaves were beautiful, we took a walk to see the lake and the leaves each morning and stopped for breakfast along the way. Great quite place to stay
Never Again
Kelly Ron 19/10/2016 02:48Empty beer cans under bed. Alarm clock was found under bed. Beds held up by skimpy pieces of wood. Ordered take out and had to dust counter in order to eat. Few pieces of paper towel on roll. Half roll of toilet paper. Rusty hot plate. Moths web on curtains. Bedspreads wrinkled, dirty and had long blonde hairs all over them. Didn't dare sleep under sheets or take a shower. That room was definitely not cleaned. Totally disgusting!!!!!

Lanesborough Country in is not far from area favorites such as Ramblewild, Summit of Mt. Greylock and a couple local Irish pubs!
Staff is courteous and very accommodating. Individual cabins are clean and cozy.
AREA IS BEAUTIFUL! And it's only about a 10 mi use ride to Pittsfield, if necessary.
Bed bugs!
SenorCrankyon 19/08/2016 06:50Do not even think of staying here. Absolutely horrible place. I wished I had researched it before I booked a room. I would have read reviews about people's encounters with bed bugs. I stayed in room 5 for about 3 hours before I discovered them. I immediately checked out in the middle of the night. Lisa the manager gave me a refund and explained that she couldn't understand how the bed bugs got there. She's full of crap. I eventually read online of 2 other incidents in April and June 2016. This is a ongoing problem that they don't seem to be doing anything about.
And as other reviews have stated, the rooms reek of smoke. Doors don't seem secure. Just dirty overall. This place should be shut down.
You've been warned.
