Excellent Hotel & Staff

Upon check in at level 4, the staff was friendly and due to my booking was at club level, they immediately directed us to level 22 for club members check in, which as very nice. The hotel was very clean and we loved the club level 22, which has a restaurant and outdoor balcony that has a good view over the river. On the check in, they upgraded our room to club member room which was a surprise and delight experience. One thing in particular to mention here. We went out after check in, and we returned to find our biggest surprise - they put a big heart shape roses on our bed, and roses in our bathtub, simply because of my girlfriend mentioned it was our anniversary holiday trip to China! Wow!! That was totally unexpected, and we were very happy. The service went beyond our expectation! Very Good job! Definitely will come back here again in the future! Thank you Ricky in Club level, you provided a good service to our stay. Thank you all the team member who we could not remember their names on level 22. Thank you.

Nice rooms nice hotel

Though slightly out of the way, the hotel is nevertheless still right next to a metro station. However Langham place in gz by virtue of its location feels like it was built to cater to those that stay to attend fairs held in the exhibition halls close by. This shows in the condition of the rooms, the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food. In no means are they major issues, but the minor scraps to the walls, some malfunctioning lights (the lounge down lights in my room wouldn't turn off) gives the hotel a somewhat lacklustre feel. The staff are attentive ( especially those in the exec lounge) though I noticed at times staff were chatting to each other during periods when they could be more attentive to the needs of the guests.

Langham Place Hotel is one of the best 5 star hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, a good choice of restaurants. The club floor facilities are superb with a good selection of quality wines and food in the evening.

Since my first stay in thins hotel from Guanzgzou I stop looking for other accommodations. Location is a walking distance from expo area and easy access to downtown also via taxi. Subway is near also. Rooms big, clean an comfy, staff extremely polite and good English speakers.

The Langham Place is an excellent medley of hospitality, innovative architectural design, fine dining, and service with poise.
The Open Kitchen offered a diverse selection of international cuisine. From succulent steaks to bounties of the sea, I looked forward to every corner of the restaurant with anticipation. The oysters, in particular, had an umami that surged forward as you suck them into your mouth.
The Italian restaurant offered a limited but exquisite selection of traditional Italian delights. The pumpkin cream soup was absolutely amazing and single-handedly dwarfed all the previous soups I've had in my life.
So mates, if you are looking for the ideal accommodation in Guangzhou, look no further. Whether you are on an important business trip or travelling for leisure, Langham Place is the Place to be in Guangzhou. I rate this hotel eight out of eight.
