What People are saying

Don't go!

Scolomeon 10/08/2017 16:26

What it was probably a nice hotel some years ago is nowadays a piece of history falling apart. From the distance it looks great but when you get closer you can see the cheap paint everywhere. When we checked in even if we payed in advanced online, due to a mistake of maybe the system we had to pay again. Bad first impression. (Transfer in process at the moment of this review)
Rooms needs to be renewed from the ground. No plugs to charge your electronic devices unless you move the bed and disconnect the bed lights and everything looks super old and broken and most of the things were repaired with duct tape in the bathroom. Wifi is extremely slow that you will see loading every instagram picture. Forget about watching videos.

No hot water in the evening and you have to hold the shower with your hands.
Beds are quite comfy but a lot of light will enter from the windows because the curtains doesn't close completely.
Moreover they receive the clean towels and some food with a truck that stays below your window since 6 am to 8 am with the engine on that sounds like a garbage truck. Awesome!
During check out only one person in reception so expect a lot of time waiting.
All personnel seems tourism students and they are nice and they will happily help you, but rarely they will speak fluent french (in France)
Breakfast is 12 euros for just a few things to choose from and if you want a capuccino it will cost you 5 euros.
Swimming pool closes at 7 pm but I didn't even dare to swim after seeing the its shower cloaked from probably a few weeks ago (the color of the water talked by itself)

Lights in the corridor of the first floor didn't work so it was all dark. The day we left the elevator didn't work so all the staff had to carry up all the trolleys with a lot of their stuff.

Rooms were clean.

This place is more a 2 stars hotel and it feels more a "hotel" to make money at all cost without respect to people that wants to enjoy their holidays with a minimum of quality to relax.

This negative review is for the owners of the hotel, because I repeat, all the staff was nice and helpful and they did the best they could with the poor facilities.

A noicy dinner experience

Centrally located hotel. The food was good, but it was lots of noice with children running around screaming.
The rooms; No safety box and no fridge. Would prefer two chairs and a table. Now we had to sit in the beds.

Basic hotel

Old hotel. Rooms (Annexe) ok. Beach 200m. Medium sized swimming pool.
Spacious outside parking.
Lots of families with children.
Rate-service ratio satisfactory.

Staff all quite young and seemingly inexperienced/incompetent. E.g. handling of check-in was awful.
Staff is basically polite, sometimes appear rather rude. Probably due to inexperience.

Breakfast buffet satisfactory, lunch not available (no loss, available nearby on central plaza). Half-board dinner available but expect long queueing.

Rooms and bathrooms ok, some renovation overdue.
Cleanliness satisfactory and below.
Room services very basic, hoovering not always on the daily program.

Wifi off frequently and range (coverage of centrally located rooms) questionable.

Good airconditioning.

Very noisy

A large hotel well positioned in relation to town and beach - next to car park on sea front in centre of town. Difficult to locate as no signs outside. Garbage truck collects bottles at 4.30 in the morning with considerable noise to rooms facing car park. Nice swimming pool. Cannot be recommended if you need a good night`s sleep (unless the room is carefully chosen)

Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, English and French( I think?)

Amazing building with pretty innovative food and reasonable swimming pool.
Staff enthusiastic and young. Weather was great and the town good size with a good selection of restaurants, cafes etc. The beach is amazing.
There's a tennis court, looks good but the painted lines a very very slippy, I pulled a muscle in my thigh.
As for the opportunities to speak French in the hotel, hmmm not good.
Saw a group of French tourists who came to the hotel and were perplexed because none of the staff they met could speak French...
Langley use young Scandinavians as cheap labour...
