Foremost the atmosphere is really good. Staff is friendly and the hotel is cosy. Breakfast is good. Location is fine specially if you want to visit the Aviva Stadium. It's a 30min to templebar area.
If I go back to Dublin, I will stay in this hotel.

Stayed here for one night with my wife for the Ireland v Denmark match. Great location to the Aviva. We got a phone call a few nights before we arrived to say car-park closes on match days so had to pay for on street parking so just be aware of that!! Room was clean ,breakfast was great and its not to far to Grafton St. Would definitely stay here again.

Me and my Mum came here for our first trip to Dublin and it is a really nice hotel. Very affluent area, no trouble and quiet at night.
Convenience store is a 5 minute walk, as are the restaurants and village centre.

We stayed at this hotel for one night when there was a big storm in Ireland. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by the lady on reception. The advice from the government re the weather was that people should stay indoors on the basis of this we had decided to eat at the hotel but unfortunately neither the bar nor the restaurant were open because of the weather staff not available, this meant we had to take the risk and go out to find somewhere to eat , the options were limited because so many places were closed.This was an unusual situation for the hotel but perhaps some sort of simple fare should have been available. Our room was large clean and comfortable with a double and single bed.It was quiet and we had a great nights sleep
For breakfast we had the cold buffet which was adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful

Stayed here as a group of guys celebrating a birthday. The hotel is situated close to the stadium and a few shops and bars. We arrived at 11am in time to watch the football game which started at 12.30. We were told that the bar downstairs didn't show football only rugby ! I assume if they show the rugby that they have sky sports And could have out it on for us. We were then told we should head into the city centre. Now there were 8 of us looking food and drink. Maybe they don't need the money. We walked about 500 yards
to the ballsbridge hotel who couldn't have been more accommodating. On returning to the hotel at tea time some of us had something to eat downstairs in The Den something I wouldn't recommend. Not many chips in " the basket of chips" disgraceful and the gentleman who served really had no idea about hospitality. The rooms were adequate but a little dated howevever they were clean. Went down for breakfast which wasn't included in our booking and this is where we found genuine friendliness. The lady who was looking after breakfast was excellent. Friendly, chatty and quick and the only reason any of us would return to this hotel.
