What People are saying

Nice rooms, terrible service

Scotttaylor1803on 02/07/2017 18:48

My wife, myself and a family friend were travelling from San Fransisco to Vancouver and were looking to stay just outside Portland for the night. The venue ticked all the boxes as it was a suite that could accommodate 3 of us without the added expense of booking two rooms. We phoned to ask about availability and were told they have double suites available.....perfect.
We arrived 30 mins later to be told rudely "we're full up", even when we told him we phoned less that 30 mins ago it was a no, we have a wedding booked today and we're full (the car park was empty?)
I sat in the lobby, used their wifi to go online with booking.com and book a suite, even checking in with the same guy who told me they were full....!!
On a positive note the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, although we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves as they couldn't be bothered.
I don't know if they don't like single night bookings but it was all a bit strange and would stop me using or recommending this place again.

Awesome

Nice breakfast bacon, eggs, cereal, coffee, cookies, bagel, muffins, cocoa, very good rooms, excellent service, the wifi isn't good and it doesn't work. The breakfast room is very little only for 10 or 15 persons at time, so when you wake up late you don't a chair

Basic but good location.

I booked one night here whilst on the road from San Francisco to Seattle. It was good for one night but wouldn't have wanted to stay for longer. The room itself was a little tired but a really decent size. Breakfast didn't look great so I didn't bother, although if you like your typical American hotel breakfasts, you might like it.
The hotel was really convenient if you are travelling to Portland and beyond, it's only a short drive into the city.
Given the really reasonable price I paid and the location, it wasn't a bad choice, just not the standard I would have normally liked.

Stay June 8/9

Old but clean
Keys stopped working
Breakfast day 1 great
Day 2 horrible no bacon , sausage hard like a rock, eggs (if that's what they were) jello texture and cold as death
One bite in the garbage and off to MacDonald's for a sausage egg mcmuffin as bad as that is comparatively it was a gourmet breakfast
Staff were polite but some were poorly trained and not always at the desk
Power went out and stairwells were poorly lit
Used iPhone flashlight very dangerous
Door is very hard to open push and kick to open
Would I stay again NO

Nice staff, clean place, but REALLY needs attention to detail

4 of us shared a king suite here recently for 3 nights on business. When we checked in they graciously found us a quiet room on the top floor farthest from the elevator (my strategy for always getting the quietest room). The kitchen light wasn't working and though we planned on cooking, there was hardly sufficient cookware. Luckily, a very helpful maintenance man was still there in the evening and fixed the light. He was a busy guy as over the course of our stay he had to fix the coffee machine in the lobby and then back to our room to service the range top which broke at the end of our first night of cooking. Everything else was standard and the staff was always nice. I'd say its worth the money you might save from staying at a nicer place...but with a little attention to detail this place could really shine.
