Away from the hustle and bustle of town, over the mountain top on the north side of the island you'll find Las Verandas. Upon arrival we were greeted by Max, with a welcome drink and a smiling reception. Alberto was quick to unload bags and delivered them to our room. After a brief tour of the hotel we were shown to our beautifully appointed room. I loved the smell of flowers that permeates the room! The grounds are amazing with 2 restaurants and 2 infinity pools. There is some mid-construction but if you can overlook that you won't be disappointed. The staff are helpful, happy to accommodate and serve. If you want to be close yet away this is the place. I would recommend a rental car if you want to be mobile and explore. You are just a 7 min drive to French Harbor where you can have lunch or dinner at Romeo's or grab some groceries at Eldon's Market ( small fridge in room). The conch soup at the Palapa, on property, is amazing and my favorite was sitting by the lower pool drinking fresh pina coladas served by Ruth. I look forward to coming back!

Stayed with a group for just under two weeks. Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were very nice. The grounds were very nice as well as quiet. Would stay again!

Las Verandas is a very nice and (at least during our stay) quiet resort on the northern side of the island. Staff at reception, restaurants and room service was very friendly and helpful.
There is a golf course and a dive center on or very close to the resort area. I had several dives with the center crew, which were totally ok.
Location is a little bit remote, so a rental car is recommended, although the resort offers transportation to local restaurants and probably other places.
Due to the remote location also the availability of restaurant choices outside the resort is a little bit limited. There are more options in West Bay and West End, but this is about one hour to go with the car.
However, we still would recommend this resort for people (couples) who want a relaxing vacation on a Caribbean island and not looking for fun actions and entertainment.

This is a wonderful property with great personalized service and attention. Front desk staff is world class!
Accomodations inside the Villa are top notch.
Food quality and restaurant service needs to improve a bit.
Overall experience was great.
We look forward on returning in the near future.

everything was excellent, the location is appropiate for vacation and business the personal was very friendly and gave us a very good attention. the food was delicious including the show at friday dinner
