Good Old Lauries
Satya Pon 03/11/2016 06:50Built by the British - Lauries was the only class hotel in Agra. I had stayed there decades ago. Its huge. Large rooms. Massive gardens. Antique furniture. Rooms are clean and good size. Staff very polite and helpful. Location is good. I stayed there for a day and was satisfied as today its a huge heritage hotel. Donth expect much and enjoy. Overall - Good
CENTRE OF THE CITY
55travelbugindiaon 26/07/2016 11:09while looking for options for my sister wedding, came across this hotel. it has a big garden, old building with rooms. however the maintenance is not upto the mark. i would suggest its a wonderful option if you are looking for something in teh city otherwise there are better ones too for staying/partying etc.

A real weirdo Dump
nardir3on 05/11/2012 23:21This is one of the most bizzare places I have ever stayed in.Its a hangover from the days of
the Raj,but not a scrap of maintainance has been done since they left. The place is huge with all the rooms opening out onto a spacious unkept lawn.We were the only guests in a place that seemed to have an infinite number of rooms, which says it all.Even the autorickshaw driver warned us.The room was large with a ceiling fan that sounded like all the bearings were missing. The bathroom was filthy with insects crawling all over the floor. The toilet had to be flushed by filling a bucket from a filthfy old bath.No hot water.800rp a night. An old man spent
all day going up and down the long length of patios outside sweeping leaves and each time he passed he tried to peer in our window. There was a day manager that was a young helpful guy,
but the night manager was a nutcase. He made an attempt to throw us out at 7am on the day we were leaving because we had arrived 3 days previously at 8am even though our receipt clearly stated checkout time was 12am.It is hard to believe that in an empty hotel a manager could be so stupid. This hotel under the right management with a little maintainance could have possiblities,
but our true advice is that there is much better atound at the same price.
