Its not cheap but its worth it
M3088GQmarieon 27/07/2017 22:35Since the hotel is situated in Switzerland you don't really expect to get anything at bargain prices and this is no exception. However the staff were lovely and attentive, the spa is great ( and included in the room price) and the gym is good with lot's of machines. The breakfast is on my top ten best list ever and the room (a junior suite to fit in our kind) was really nice with comfortable beds and everything you need. All in all a great stay!
Outstanding hotel with great views, easy accessbility
Kaylen26on 15/07/2017 20:12I was a little wary about staying here after reading previous reviews about the staff "sizing people up" upon arrival. Regardless, the pictures were nice so I chose to stay here. I am very happy I did. The receptionist upgraded me to a very large suite with a balcony overlooking Lake Geneva and the city. The room amenities were terrific, and the overall hotel experience was outstanding. The staff were very nice, contrary to the previous reviews, with Matthew in particular being extremely cordial and helpful. The hotel is right across the street from the free Metro which takes you to the lake, shopping areas, and the train station. Although Lausanne and Geneva are unusually expensive, if you book this hotel with enough advance notice, the rooms are still relatively reasonable. The hotel bistro was a good choice for dinner - even after a late arrival. In the event that I return to this area, I would absolutely stay here again.
Excellent base for a stay in Lausanne
Karen Bon 12/07/2017 10:21Yet again another comfortable stay at a Leading Hotel of the World - very central location; good quality food and drink; excellent friendly staff with discreet service. Rooms well equipped. Great views of the lake. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent hotel

We would definitely return here in the future.
From Bad to Excellent
6400wendyon 05/07/2017 05:10Arrived at 2:30 to find that the hotel had no record of our pre-paid reservation for a suite. We had our reservation and confirmation number but they did not. We waited 45 minutes for them to finally straighten it out. Our room 301 was adequate, a corner room, nicely decorated with a small balcony and view of the lake. We were disappointed with the general reception. There was no fruit, no wine and no flowers as we had encountered at all of our other hotels. Although non-smoking, our room still retained a smoke smell. We commented to the front desk and a small dish of fruit was delivered to our room. The next day the smoke smell in the room had increased and we assumed that our housekeeper must have been smoking. We later found out that our housekeeper was a non-smoker BUT the smoke smell was coming up from one of the restaurants below us. We wish to heartily compliment ULAIKE KUECHLE OGUEY, Cheff De Reception who truly saved our trip and sanity by showing us two other suite options that smelled fine and gave us a choice of them. Her kindness and her willingness to help us through this situation made all the difference.
