Great Last Day Stay

We enjoyed a cozy efficientcy apartment at Palace Stafileo for the last day and a half of our stay in Croatia. We were able to negotiate an extra half day because the room was available for the next day. Tomas Stafiloe, our host allowed us to stay until 7 p.m. when he drove us to the Split airport for our departing flight. He had also driven us to the airport after check-in to drop off our rental car (no charge for that trip), and set us up with his son for a snorkeling excursion. It was one stop for multiple services. We knew we had found something special when we shared a local brandy toast upon arrival. The room was well-appointed and comfortable, up the stairs on the "first" floor. Everything was like new and the location in the middle of the old town is hard to beat.

A great place to stay in Trogir!

We (nine persons) stayed in Trogir for 13 nights and we all had a wonderful time in this historic Town! Palace Stafileo was the perfect location and Tomas and his daughter were the best hosts you can imagine. They were there to help you with anything you might need. The place is really nice and clean! The rooms are small, but big enough. We all had our own breakfast together in the small yard which was so nice every morning (well not exactly morning..) From Stafileo you have a Walking distance to Everything: the bus station, Consum (Supermarket) , boats going to other beaches, the Trogir beach, the boat companies taking you to other parts of Croatia. For the first time ever we did not have to rent cars during our holiday. We could easily walk to the boats or buses and go to other Towns and places far away or nearby. This was really nice! Especially since the traffic and parking spaces around Trogir were a bit hectic. You could also rent bicycles or scooters nearby,

Wonderful place to stay

Originally booked in here for 2 nights , but we were made so welcome and the appt was very comfortable we stayed for 9 days . Very central position , but when you closed the shutters All the noise was blocked out . Marina and her family were very helpful nothing was too much of a problem , they helped us book 2 excursions 1 was a Full day boat trip to the Blue and Green Caves , Stiniva beach , Vis and Hvar . ( long day but plenty of time to go swimming off the boat ) 2nd trip was to the waterfalls in Krka park and Primosten and Sinenik .
Would certainly recommend staying here .

Clean rooms and friendly staff

We was a family with two children staying in an appartment for one night.

Excellent service and room was clean. It is an old building made of stone, so don't expect to much silence. (You may here sounds from other rooms)

Staff was helpfull with parking and other guidance

No direct Parking at hotel, you have to walk about 100 metres from a road where you can park while offloading your car. This will cost you 20 kuna pr hour so do it quickly (!). 15 minutes is free. Afterwards, you should move the car to a cheaper space about 3-500 metres from the hotel.

A solid base for travels

A nice family running some little studio apartments. Mine was very expensive as I booked via booking.com. I was told if I booked direct I would not have paid nearly as much! A handy tip for next time. The apartment is right in the old town. Narrow stairs so skip if you can't manage stairs. Shower over bath. Very clean. Old but comfortable furnishings. Great pillows. I was very appreciative of the air conditioning as the locals are noisy in their homes. If I had the window open I couldn't get to sleep due to all the household noises. Nothing terrible but I am used to a whisper quiet environment to sleep in. The Internet was really problematic whilst I was there. It had poor coverage and kept dropping out. It wasn't until my last of 4 nights that it was finally addressed. This made my stay much more difficult as I was traveling solo and relied on the Internet to communicate and plan and keep in touch.
