What People are saying
getting worse...
Witoldzioon 20/11/2016 08:48I visited last time in May 2016. The place had a good spirit. This time, however, in November 2016, I was greeted and treated rudely. I have no idea what caused the shocking hostility at the reception desk, but I think people working at a reception should have some basic idea of their job and what it entails. Possibly my staying just one night annoyed the ladies. Clearly, I had no meaning for them. Anyway, if you agree to surrender to the brutal and icy treatment at the reception you will find a pleasant hotel, very clean, with a decent breakfast and decent pricing. Located in the back of a historic park, one of Warsaw's main tourist attractions. There is no elevator and the hallways are really long. Do not bring giant suitcases to this hotel. Even though I had a lot of baggage I was given the furthest room at the highest floor. That was the definition of service for them that night...I will not stay at this hotel again, but you are welcome to try it. I hope they will instruct their staff regarding basic techniques how to control their hostility towards people.
Old-fashioned but price is right
Ruben Von 20/10/2016 22:20We arrived late at night by taxi and were greeted kindly at the reception and got the key in no time. We got a relatively large room, and although the furniture was very old-fashioned the beds were firm but lovely to sleep on.
On the lesser side, the leader of dust on the chandelier and on the light switches told a different story. Everything else was clean though, so no real complaint about cleanliness.
Trouble arose when we attempted to take a shower in the morning. There was no hot water, instead, the water had a temperature you would associate with the Vistula in October. I called the reception, and after a while I got through and was told it was a city heating problem (Warsaw has a district heating system). No solution, so we took quick iceberg showers.
Luckily the breakfast was very nice, fresh and more than expected compared to the room. When we checked out we gallantly received a discount for the water trouble. We left our bags there for the day and collected them again in the evening. The friendly receptionist called a taxi for us.
good, with some problems, but worth the price
Witoldzioon 04/06/2016 14:47The hotel has no elevator and a rather dysfunctional internet service. However, if you can live with that then the hotel is pretty nice. The location is very quiet and you are about 100 meters from the famous "Palace on the Water" in Lazienki. Lots of bird singing in the park. After a whole day in the city it was nice to return to this quiet hotel. Breakfast is just fine, nothing extraordinarily bad or good. The beds could perhaps be just a little more comfortable. Reception staff is nice and always helpful. You get what you paid for. Check-out is 2PM - very generous.
Nothing really wrong. Good for a flying visit.
Dorothy Zon 23/05/2016 11:20Hotel is located just at the door of Ĺazienki Park, around 5 km distance from the city centre. Friendly reception staff. We were allowed to check-in before 4 p.m. Clean room and comfy beds. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No lifts. Limited choice at buffet breakfast. However, reasonably priced - you get what you pay for. Since I don't have a car I would reconsider staying there again (I prefer more central location).
1 day stay
andrey ion 06/04/2016 06:18Hotel is situated in a tiny street - long 3 stores building. Generally everything was ok - for 3 stars. Room was pretty big - and cold, need to play with heaters. For a family with a kid we recieved 3 separated beds. Breakfast was good and fresh.
