Superb ski apt
carolineg607on 01/04/2017 20:46We stayed in the apt for one night as our booked chalet was sun to sun. Have to say it's to date out of 30 years of skiing the nicest ski apt I've stayed in. Superb modern facilities and extremely comfortable along with being very spacious with an enormous balcony offering outstanding views. Would def book to stay here for a week and recommend to others.
Super Christmas break
Bunny_n82on 30/12/2013 09:59My husband and I soent a week at the chalet and upon arrival, were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service, ease at check in and fantastic location to get to the slopes and village. The studio was cosy with a lovely balcony with views of the mountains. It was quiet, friendly and perfect for a Christmas away.
We brought our cat with us and even she loved it - a home from home.
Only downside was no wifi in the rooms and when we went to the bar to get access, it wasn't working so a little let down. Would have liked for the bar to have been open a little longer everyday and serving other drinks apart from tea coffee and soft drinks. Otherwise, we are happy to recommend the chalet and look forward to coming back. A true little gem.
Chalet d'anaite
David Pon 12/04/2013 12:36Interior of apartments excellent and very warm with plenty of hot water. Most of the apartments have two bathrooms including two toilets - a real benefit when sharing with friends. Unfortunately the exterior needs attention - there is a damp problem in the communal stairways and external woodwork, including steps needs urgent attention. If this was completed it would then achieve the wow factor.
Very good value, with some caveats
David_de_Gouvieuxon 01/04/2012 22:14€330 for a week in late March was very good value. But shop around; Ski-Planet's rate was considerably lower than some others on the web.
The kitchen apart, the design / layout were outstanding. We had a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds, a lounge / dining area with a sofa that converted into a double bed, and two bathrooms. So far so good. The caveats : the kitchen was basic and ill-lit; sound insulation was poor, so there was considerable noise from the apartment above; and the "bar" closed at 8 p.m. after which internet access was available only by standing outside the windows.
Brilliant...
tappers3on 29/10/2008 22:48We're a couple in our twenties and found this place last minute. We travelled by eurostar skitrain and encountered our one and only problem with our holiday. We had not pre-booked a taxi to take us from Bourg St Maurice (the station) to Montchavin and found it incredibly hard to get someone to take us from the station to d'Anaite, due to its close proximity (most taxi's are at the station to take people on the longer journeys elsewhere)! I would not recommend travelling without knowing how you're getting to the door.
Anyway we arrived at Le Chalet d'Anaite, it was small but all we needed. We did a lot of cooked meals for ourselves, with the Sherpa just down the road (slightly expensive) but great for all the bits you need for dinner! The best bit about the chalet was the bathroom, (I have a real thing for bathrooms), I can't stand being in ones that all I want to do is get out of them, especially after a day of skiing! But this bathroom was great, modern with a power shower and a heated towel rail - nice!
The resort was quiet but what we wanted, with nice small restaurants and bars with lots of lovely french food!
All in all we had a fantastic stay, the staff were great, and looking forward to going again hopefully!
