Perfect location

Rooms are clean and well appointed if not large, the food is excellent, the wine list extensive and well chosen, and the service very friendly and professional. Don't miss the garden/pool, and the breakfast!
Right in the middle of the village.
PatrickBarbaryon 28/05/2017 19:01We stayed in this beautifully located hotel in the heart of Grignan. We met the very pleasant owner. The car access was not easy; you better give them a call when you get close. The room was small (like in any historic place) but very comfortable. Nice bathroom. The TV would be better hung on the wall, as it is sitting on the desk and could not be seen when the desk is in use. We had dinner at their restaurant. The service was great, the choice of food limited. The only fish available was cabillaud… which fish I find mediocre. Though the food was well prepared and tasty, the portions were small. One gambas was served for the appetizer, and a small darne de cabillaud as an entrée. So, great service throughout, good Wi-Fi, very pleasant crew.

Dickie Bon 24/05/2017 12:02This hotel is just perfect. Excellent location in the heart of a charming French village in Northern Provence. Helpful and courteous staff. Rooms are the perfect balance between charm and modernity. The food is outstanding!
Fairly good but expensive, dinner likewise. Breakfast excellent.
astronomer-at-largeon 25/04/2017 18:21We got a very poor first impression because the main square outside was completely dug up so one could not drive within 100m of the hotel. They emailed us instructions for finding them but omitted this vital fact - which had been going on for weeks and would continue for many more. The free parking is about 400m away but they gave us adequate instructions for that. Our room was large on the top floor - two flights of steep steps, and had a cold stone floor. The bed was comfortable. There was good wifi but SMTP access was blocked so could not easily send emails. Dinner 5 courses for Euro 75 was ok but a bit on the pretentious side with limited choices. The buffet breakfast was very good, e.g. four types of honey available.
