I was there with some friends and had a great time!
Rooms are comfortable but the top experience for us was at the restaurant.
The chef is great and dessearts are fantastic. I loved the "fraisier" =)
I was lucy enough to have some snow in April!!!

Charming hotel with a view to die for

Me and my husband spent 1 night here while visiting the Pyrenees. We actually stayed here as it is one of the hotels offered through the "smartbox" program in France so as it was a gift we didn't actually pay for the room or the breakfast but according to booking.com it was 76 euros a night, or according to the prices on the inside of the door it would have been around 150 euros with breakfast.

Our room was amazing. It appears to be recently renovated compared to photos we saw on various reservation sites. Upon walking into the room and putting the key in the electric card reader spot, all of the lights turned on and the television. There is an LED strip (that is programmable) above the curtains which adds quite a modern and funky touch. The bed was a queen (I think) that was VERY comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room but since we were in the mountains, keeping the balcony door open a bit was more than enough cool air to be comfortable. The room included a desk with the tv above it (lots of channels available), plus ample lighting and places to plug in electronics and store items.

The bathroom at first is open to the room. No door to enter and has a sink and mirro and the shower (no door or curtain), in the Italian style. The shower itself has 2 heads, a square fixed head or the shower handle which has different settings and water pressures. We had no problem getting any temperature of water and the shower was very relaxing. While in the bathroom part there is actually a window to look into the bedroom part so you can actually watch tv while showering. The toilet has its own room to itself (with a door) across from the bathroom.

The best part of the room is definitely the balcony. An obscured view of the Pyrnees and a very calm setting. Our balcony had two chairs and it was very nice to relax and even tan.

We had access to the pool/spa area (open 9-12, 15-19) and it was great because for the majority of the time we had the pool area to ourselves. Pool that had a portion that was 1.8m deep in addition to a jacuzzi with different features such as some waterfalls and jets. 2 sauna rooms and a small fitness room. We did not use any of the spa services though.

The wifi was not the greatest. It did not reach the bedroom and even in the 'public areas' such as the restaurant (where the breakfast is served) and the pools it does not work, or it shows multiple bars but doesn't go any further.

The breakfast was also lacklustre. It is buffet style but seems pre-prepared. The scambled eggs were possibly the most disgusting eggs I have ever eaten as they were not only cold but has a very slimey texture. The sausages were cold as well. The pancakes which I thought at first were overcooked as they were quite hard (and cold) but I then saw one of the cooks bring out 2 small packages that appeared to have been microwaved and he dumped the pancakes in. Other than that there was the standard cereal bar, fruits and breads, some muffins and pastries and a type of cheese and a type of deli meat.

There is no specific parking lot but there are tons of spots behind the hotel and some spots in front (but I think these might be taken up quite quicky during the ski season). There is also an ATM machine right beside the hotel.

The employees don't seem to be bothered to do more than what is asked of them. I was refused extra towels (when I asked for a new dry towel to bring to the pool). Didn't seem too happy that I wasn't a regular client and that I was a "smartbox" client only staying 1 night. Didn't provide any information on the area or recommendations for things to see or places to eat (other than their own restaurant).

I would stay at this place again just for the view but if the breakfast is not included I think it would be better to go out and buy your own croissants than pay for it.

Ummmm……great views!

What can I say? We wanted to go to Mont Louis, but not many choices. They try hard but, needs an overhaul. Clean it, replace the linens, work on customer service! Either way, great views, and a lovely world UNESCO site nearby!

The best the views

All the rest is not worthy.
Old and noisy rooms.
The water changes from cold to hot all the time, so showers after skiing are uncomfortable.
Finally, the service is not good.
We really don't recommend the hotel

Stunning views

On arrival there was no one in reception - a waitress noticed me waiting and advised that someone would be with me in a minute. Several minutes later the receptionist arrived but "service" was v cool and unwelcoming. Clearly the hotel was not heavily booked because we were allocated a small "appartment" - the kitchen area was locked - but we had a decent sized double bedroom, good sized balcony, living room and bathroom - so the two of us had plenty of space to spread ourselves. Views absolutely stunning.
