A good centrally located property rapidly going to seed. Has all the basic requisites to be an outstanding hotel, but this requires a huge financial investment and a huge change in attitude from both staff and management. Stayed with friends in their better rooms ( titled suites) on floors seven and above. Very large rooms, decent sized bathrooms. That's about it. Hot water takes forever, Towels and sheets are well past their best days. Aircon was satisfactory. We had to carry our bags post check in and check out.. Wifi works well in the lobby and on the 8th floor (where I stayed)
Breakfast is adequate. The Indian restaurant served decent fare. The staff just goes about doing their job, cold and unfriendly. Requests for any service are simply shrugged off.
If you are on a tight budget and willing to compromise then it can be a bargain.

The Hotel is centrally located. It is behind Uzbekistan Hotel. It is verypoular with Indian Group. It was previously Owned By TATA & Hence called as TATA HOTEL. We have group of 34 Pax. We have booked total 17 Rooms out of Which 8 rooms were upgraded by Hotel on Complimentary basis. Upgraded rooms are very Good But Normal Delue rooms are Old & not Properly maintained. There is Swimming pool also, but Water was gren in colour hence we do not use it. There is Indian Restaurant Named RAJ DARBAR , We took our B/f and one lunch there.Indian food was OK

No attention given for the upkeep of the room. The bed sheets & the towels provided were all worn out. The Tvs provided may qualify as antique pieces.Breakfast were ok but repetitive.
It seems promoters are least interested to do the maintenance, if little care is taken for maintenance , this property could be good value for money. Only plus point is -its centrally located . The check in and check out were made smooth by the front office staff and room service were prompt which made up for otherwise a forgettable stay.

We were a large group of doctors booked in this hotel by the tour operators Cox and kings.who do not seem to have done any homework about this hotel
The hotel though conveniently located with good reception and lobby there is poor communication skills .no one understands English.At the outset no bellboy available .more than 50percent were senior citizens who had to literally crouch in to get their luggage out from bus.Rooms in totally bad shape with absolutely dirty linen torn carpets,missing toiletteries broken sinks towels so old fit to be floor mops,leaking tubs,wifi not working no spoon or stirrer for tea no coffee sachets and above all house keeping staff not available on a single day of our stay to take note of the above inefficiencies.totally irresponsible housekeeping staff.Only a company of disrepute or with amateur operators can choose such a hotel for a huge elite clientele

Hotel is located centrally but has poorly maintained rooms . We are a group of 95 doctors and their families - friends and almost all have issues related to housekeeping and rooms. It's booked by Cox and Kings India and we wonder how such a reputed agency can book hotels without checking if it meets their standards . In Mumbai standards it's a 2 star property. Strictly not recommended for a family at least.
