Cannot brag enough of this place
John Kon 12/06/2017 17:48This is super quiet cozy, wonderful, relaxing. In the countryside not far from many things and places. We took advantage of a tour with a hotel employee, Marc. Little did I know he is a lisc tour guide for Normandy. Also a former Hotel/ Restaurant owner. Knowledge is abundant, History of Normandy/ France was amazing.
I have to admit I was not to excited about the location of this place. In the country side seemingly far away from everything, But in fact this is almost perfectly located from everything. You must have a car too. Side Note: Which if you rent a car.... A must is GPS navigational.... I would have been lost and divorced.... because I was thinking i could find my way... Wrong thinking this is not America. 1 lane Country roads is very normal. Trust the navigational it will get you there!
1.5 hrs from downtown Paris, 2 hrs from the Beaches of Normandy. And near many many awesome Chateaus, Mid evil churches, food country people, small villages and towns are amazing. The best shopping etc. To me this is the real enjoyment. Yes Paris and the Louver Notre Dome are fun but nothing compared to the Real France the people, Culture Rich history, etc. Marc our guide was amazing speaks great english and french (of course) Knowledge of good food Wine, History facts, Stories this made the trip for me and my family.
The Hotel is a delight. Just perfect! We were able to cook a few meals in the full kitchen as well.
Setting is splendid the picture is a view of the valley over looking the Seine river above the hotel, the other is 1 of the chateau's we visited and of course the picture of Marc and my son at a early church.
Beautiful very quiet location
IrishPabloon 09/06/2017 09:41When we checked in we were allocated a room on the top floor. This was unsuitable as there are no lifts and the stairway to the final floor is very steep. We were immediately allocated a room on a lower floor.Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and had a full kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable.
All the rooms overlook a quiet branch of the Seine and a bridge to a wooded islet in the Seine completes the lovely view.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it is possible to order bread, pizzas etc. at reception. I knew that there were 2 restaurants within walking distance, one being fine dining and the other a bistro. The bistro was closed for refurbishment and there was no date given for re-opening. The first night we walked along the river bank to the fine dining restaurant. It lived up to it's name, but we did not wish to pay for that every night.
The reception staff were very helpful in sorting out problems we had with getting mobile telephone reception; extending the car hire and advising on what to see in the district.
This resort is run by a timeshare company, but there was no evidence that sales staff operated there.
There is an outdoor and an indoor pool, but the indoor pool is quite small.
The Wifi (free to timeshare members) was very slow and the cleaners did not clean the room on the days that were listed.
Place quaint, has many issues.
Alex Hon 03/06/2017 22:14Place has many issues. The housekeeping is non existent (have not cleaned unit during our stay). Staff is not knowledgeable about the area, nor their own facility. Parking spaces and logistics is tight and limited. Kitchen items are missing items on inventory. Windows that have screens are damaged, fridge damaged by previous guest. (Both we fixed with duck tape).

The staff are so friendly and helpful with every request.
The apartments are beautifully equipped and furnished.
Lovely toiletries provided, comfy beds and ample towels.
There's even a small fruit and vegetable patch which you can help yourself from.

Langevindadoptionon 15/05/2017 10:07Great, extremely helpful and friendly service at all times throughout the stay. Room was very comfortable. Choice of pillows, clean and comfortable bedding/beds. Excellent amenities in the apartment - everything you need is provided. Very clean and warm swimming pool. Nice play area for kids. Good parking facilities. Very good location for travelling around Normandy. Highly recommend it.
