nice stay at this well located hotel
monalisa3960on 29/11/2016 17:38good size clean room, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bathroom , good wifi. Well located hotel, near the marina and the beach. No parking problems at this time of the year (october).
However, breakfast is a bit disappointing if you want it continental. Only one croissant and one piece of bread, they are not included in the 'buffet' which has a limited choice.
All in all, the place is pleasant and quite I can recommend it.
Reasonably-priced base close to great Cote d'Azur beaches
tampen2016on 03/09/2016 16:39A small modern hotel in walking distance of the marina and beaches on the Presqu'ile d'Hyeres. Easy access to the offshore islands with some of the best beaches in the Med. Our family room for four was a bit of a squeeze (hence the loss of the fifth star) but the place was well-kept and it was great to come back from the beach each day to an immaculately clean and tidy room. A/C in the heatwave worked so well that my daughters complained of cold. The reception was warm and helpful, though it probably helped that we are all French speakers. Loads of restaurants and shops in the nearby marina. There's no hotel parking as such, but we never had a problem finding a free space nearby. The wifi was pretty hopeless, which annoyed my daughters but not me. A good budget choice for a week on the beach.
Delightful little retreat
Clive Aon 06/06/2016 10:21If you are looking for a cosy little place to stay on the riviera which covers all the basics, is well placed and doesn't break the bank then look no further than this charming little hotel in the marina (port) area of Hyeres. The hosts (Annie and Fred) and charming and helpful and really make a stay here worthwhile. Sure, as a 2 star hotel you will not get all the frills and spills of a large and annonymous hotel but all the basics are well covered. What's more you will be supporting a super couple who work hard to please their guests. The hotel is well placed and is just a short walk to many restaurants, cafes and bars in the marina area. Hyeres is half way between the larger resorts of Nice and Monaco to the east and the charming Calanques national park to the west. Hyeres old town has some excellent shopping, restaurants and cafes, as well. There is free parking in several nearby parking lots. Breakfast is a simple but delicious continental style meal and is worth the little extra (9 Euros). The hotel would appeal to couples and families wanting to explore the riviera on a budget. Beware little Harley, the cutest little guard dog on the riviera.
Very clean big rooms. Owners very nice. quiet rooms at night
Baxterpon 03/12/2015 20:28I did think it was on the water or near the water views, so was disappointed when we first arrived. no view at all. Had hoped to have a view of the water but it is covered by condo complexes. High density condo area near the harbor but not much to do in November as everything was closed. The breakfast room area and the room were very clean, and customized for a more boutique home like feeling. The owners are quite friendly and the wife speaks good English. Room was large and beds were comfortable. Big bathrooms with good shower. Parking is on the street unsecured. the Old town is quite fun and worth the visit. a good stopping point when on the road in the South of France. would return and recommend to others. wifi was free and good although you had to keep logging on as it would time you out
Great value, lovely hosts
James Bon 08/11/2015 18:45We stayed here en route to the Côte d'Azur as a cheap stopover and it was an absolutely bargain and the area nearby really quite nice. Hosts are very helpful (especially as our classic car had just broken down!), room was basic but lacking nothing, breakfast very good. At the end of summer, Hyeres was quietening down but had a lovely evening in the port with bars/restaurants 5 mins walk away. There is even a little beach minutes away, perfect for a quick dip!!
