Lovely Stay
travelore1900on 11/08/2017 21:25Incredible location just a minute's walking distance from Frankfurt Central (Haufbahnof) and right next to lots of cafes, bars and even Starbucks. Very lively area that gets even more busy on the weekend and just 5 minutes walk to the Stadel. Staff graciously offered late check out at the time of check-in itself, without being asked. And offered a wake up call, a drop to airport etc. all without even asking. Very considerate and helpful and friendly. Rooms are nicely designed and comfortable even if they are a little small - housekeeping is excellent. Lots of artwork around the hotel, even the keycard was an artwork by a local artist. Great restaurant downstairs and concierge desk is most helpful.
Overall an excellent stay.
Frankfurt Central Hotel
Aida Aon 07/08/2017 16:56So I was in Frankfurt for just a day and we spent the night at Le Meridien Park Hotel - location, restaurant and staff were all great but I was quite disappointed to note that my hotel wasn't all that clean - the hotel shoes had been opened and were underneath the bed which clearly shows lack of attention to detail as well as uncleanliness - It's not just the surface that counts. The hotel was very nice to us and accommodated every request but I wish this incident had not taken place. All in all I would give it a good rating but having kids around means you want things in tip top shape and hope this improves things for the future.
Convenient to Hauptbahnhof
BrianGradySF415on 05/08/2017 08:24I chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. Of note, the majority of buses also stop very close to here.
The hotel has two wings. The Palace wing has fewer rooms, and the building is clearly older. The ceilings are very high, and there is a large marble staircase in the center of the wing. For less noise, ask for a room away from this (and the elevator). These are numbered with the highest or lowest numbers (so ask for "301" or "319,"). The Legacy wing is new and much more modern in design. It has three times as many rooms as the Palace wing.
My room was in the Palace wing. Everything was clean and spotless. There were plenty of electric outlets around the room. Large flat screen TV. Refrigerator but no minibar (I don't like them anyway; they're a ripoff). There is a tiny but adequate convenience store directly across the street for drinks and snacks.
The bathroom was very clean, with nice products from Malin+Goetz. Towel warmer (didn't need it, but would be nice in winter).
I could not sign in to the wifi system using room # and name. If this happens, call the front desk and they will give you a voucher with which to sign in.
The restaurant is also called Legacy. It is very good, but rather pricey. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and is included in most room rates.
The room rates are very reasonable, by the way.
Although the location is great for transferring to/from train and bus, the neighborhood itself is not great. Much of the area right around the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) is sketchy and downright dangerous. This includes the little park in front of the hotel. I would not recommend walking around at night, and especially not alone. As you go northeast, away from the train station, it gets better.
The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely competent. They are very knowledgeable about the area.

alamo07109on 31/07/2017 08:31Good location for the business traveler, close to the main train station. Nothing fancy but clean and convenient. Staff are helpful. The place is a bit tired but undergoing some work and renovations (no noise however). The area around the station has some shady characters, but is still safe.
Great hotel
Ken Hon 28/07/2017 09:20When traveling with family instead of business, it's always helpful when the staff can point us to a family friendly restaurants. As we arrived late to check in, The front desk staff, Atish, was patiently helping us to find a restaurant that was still open and ensure that they stay open till we arrive.
The hotel is well located just next to the Frankfurt train station, and next to the river. With new renovated rooms. A short 20mins walking distance to the downtown area where all the action is.
