G Jon 21/07/2017 09:52It was a nice hotel during its construction, since it has aged badly. The elevators are noisy. However the wi-fi works very well and the staff is friendly.
The beach is filled with plastic bags and other rubbish.
Second time here
masanorik44on 13/05/2017 07:59Came back here on business. Exterior and interior are old and Nor well refurbished however service and food are not bad.
Amazingly the staff remembered that I came here last year and treated me as a VIP.
Maybe good for Africa, but horrible for a SPG hotel.

-Different housekeepers come three times a day, which is very inconvenient. They come at 1400 to collect all the towels, 1600 to clean the sink and toilet, and 1800 to restock the towels. During my two week stay the hardwood floor was never cleaned and the coffee mug was not replaced after the first use, even after asking multiple times.
- Every part of the hotel is dilapidated and dirty, except the front lobby.
-The attached gym is not owned by the hotel, so the hours of operation are just a suggestion. The gym opens 10-15 minutes late everyday and closes when the employee wants to go home. The gym charges for water and does not get towels from the hotel anymore, so no towels.
- During my stay the hotel got rid of CNN, So there is no English news channels available.
-The pool is nice to lounge by, but is in need of repairs and is not cleaned daily.
-The cabanas by the tennis courts are nice, but do not have any furniture under them. The employees would not bring any lounge chairs down to the cabanas.
-In hotel restaurant is very expensive for the selection. Amigo across the street was our preferred restaurant.
High qualify common areas but rooms need work.
addoesqon 29/01/2017 23:03This is the issue with this hotel. The staff is nice and the common areas are nice. However, the rooms are stuck in the late 80s and early 90s. I had an apartment suite so it was manageable but I would definitely recommend that the hotel refurbish their bathrooms and the kitchenette. To be honest, if there are ever more options in Libreville this hotel will be in trouble. They are extremely expensive but the quality of the room does not match. Bathrooms are a key and to be honest, the bathrooms are definitely below standard. I was there with my family for AFCON.
The thing is with a little refurbishing of the bathrooms and kitchenette this would be a quality place.
I will add that they need to get rid of the carpets in the hallway on floor 1. The humidity has caused a bad smell in the hallway.
I really hope they fix their problems because it would be a shame to see the staff lose their jobs when competition comes.
I am a frequent Africa traveler and I would like to see the hotels in Africa do well. They should not slack off. They should push themselves to the next level. Jobs are at stake.
Slowly improving
stofferton 18/01/2017 08:27I have stayed here many times now, although it has been long since last time. Maybe it was for the better as I paid attention to the changes done in service mostly as the hotel stayed the same.
Service@check-in and out was much much faster than it used to be. Well appreciated.
Again stayed in a room close to the elevators. It is super annoying as you can hear the elevators non stop.
I like that the rooms have irons. Quickly to iron a shirt. Although it would be nice if they cleaned the irons.
They removed the feared and beloved ginger juice from the morning buffet 😊 a sad loss.
Internet is impeccable. And easy to connect too for free.
